Assuming Ricky is off of the board
I hope to God Petrie does not draft Brandon Jennings! I mean thats great that he’s so much faster than all the other pg prospects, but i really hope the Kings pass!, and draft either Evans or Flynn!!!!
This article makes all the sense in the world.
It sounds like the missing link to the Sacramento work-outs. Jennings blew away Amick and co.- add to this the comments regarding Jennings smoking shooting in the first half of the work out…then we learned that the Kings preferred Flynn confusing all of us. So I guess we can assume that Jennings had a similar issue in Sac regarding following instructions and matching up in one on one drills as a defender.
Shocking report that Flynn was the best defender with the studs that attended this work-out.
Holiday should fire his agent for allowing him to compete again in this type of work-out after what happened in Sac. If you can’t hang with this group or have run out of energy then you should probably reschedule.
The news on Teague was pretty depressing, I liked him a lot during the season and when chatter about him falling hit the street I got excited about the possibility of the Kings landing him with the #23 if the Kings could land a big early.
"Or, as Randy Jackson would say: Not feelin’ it, dawg."
-bench-blob- posting virgin.
Definetly encouraged to hear about flynn
Defense and shooting are really his only concerns….While he is on the short side, he has decent length and great strength that will make it easier to defend in the NBA, especially combining all of that with his quickness. It’s safe to assume that Flynn is the 2nd quickest guard in the draft, according to the article. I love his heart, and mabye he can help Greene out a little bit. He reminds me kind of a shorter Baron Davis, with a better mentality.
"Because they don't have four pointers."
- Antoine Walker, on why he shoots so many three pointers
I thought Flynn was the 2nd quickest guard in the draft too
which is why I’m really baffled by his mediocre showing in the speed/agility drills at the draft workouts. Maybe it was just a bad day? Or there is a difference between real basketball speed and running between cones speed?
