Still don't like the Rubio-Nash comparisons
Why not Kidd? A passer with no jumper. Rubio has more flair, I guess, but still, he’s not Nash.

Totally agreed.
Kidd was much more of a physical presence. Otherwise this is the best comparison.

I think because Nash is much flashier than Kidd
But I agree with you. Nash’s shooting ability really separates him from Kidd and Rubio.

Rubio's also a good rebounder
like Kidd.

So, basically
He gave everybody one award, based on what he sees.
Reminds me of my youngest son’s soccer coach. She gave each kid an award. My dandelion-picker son got “fancy footwork” which cracked me up, because he got hit in the face with the ball more than he managed to kick it.
The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

God I wish I got paid to write crap like this
It ranks right up there with my disdain for post-game analysis. I just watched the game. I sure as hell don’t need someone to tell me what I just saw.

It is written for the casual draft audience
He goes in to lots of detail in his articles on draftexpress.com, on nba.com he is clearly shooting at a lower level of basketball knowledge from the more casual NBA fan.

I understand that.
It was merely a brief rant of frustration.

I guess I liked it better than most.
Why different teams with their different philosophies might appreciate the different strengths of the different players.
It brings me back, only again, to Rubio. I think the thing he brings that none other does, at least not nearly as much, is enlivening Martin and Thompson and Hawes and Garcia and Greene when the ball is in his hands. The same could be somewhat true on defense, where they may be more active and have to be prepared for the ball to suddenly be going the other way in a split second, ending up in their hands at the rim.
