Having the buyout resolved
Doesn’t mean Rubio HAS to pay his way out of his contract. It means he CAN.
If he doesn’t want to play in Memphis and they draft him, he can still not pay the buyout and stay in Spain.
Memphis knows that. They’d be stupid to draft him.
The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

how much Pau Gasol is worth. They’d be stupid to ship him to LA for Kwame Brown and some sloppy seconds… OH wait.
Memphis is stupid enough to keep a guy like Chris Wallace in business. I see your point, but there’s no telling what Wallace would do to prove try to convince everyone he’s a good GM.
