"Rubio is reportedly returning to Sacramento tomorrow for a workout, which should ease one of the concerns the team has about being unable to watch him last week."

Holy Crap!

I’m impressed….but as some people will say this is just a smoke screen so Evans will drop.

Either way

Kings get a great player

I like Jonny Flynn too

… Just not at #4. If we move down to six or so, and swap #23 for #18, now that’s a scenario I like.

Skeptical

If this didn’t come from Amick, I’m skeptical. I’ll wait until the Bee confirms to get excited.

by Carl on Jun 22, 2009 7:34 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Yup.

My thoughts exactly. Amick is usually all over this stuff. He’d at least have tweeted it.

But if it IS true, either RR just wants to make sure he doesn’t fall past the 4th pick OR maybe the Kings really do have the inside track on drafting him.

Happy Monday morning!

This is a GREAT way to start the week. Consider me deeply in the RR camp. Make it happen Petrie!

Do I get a plaque of some sort?

Even a generic certificate of recognition, maybe?

At first glance I thought that said "plague"

With the 4th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Rickeke Flynenningday, point guard from Europe, Memphis, Syracuse, UCLA and Parts Unknown.

That WOULD suck.

To have the hot girl come back, only to find that she’s a carrier of the plague.

That would be like drafting Purvis Ellison.

The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

In reality

I really do hope Ricky doesn’t have the basketball equivalent of herpes

He is the hot girl

But there’s a chance he’s got a bottle of chloroform and a strap-on in his purse.

I'm going to rat you out to Megan

Rubio is the basketball equivalent of Megan

super sexy, hasn’t really done enough to be a proven commodity. But, I’ll take the risk

Plus, I already told Ricky he could have Megan if he ends up in Sac. She’ll get over me eventually

Again...I like hot chicks.

And like a really perfect hot chick, Rubio should only get better with age and not become one of those fat chicks wearing way to tight clothes. Too bad there isn’t a “check out the mom” test for basketball players.

There is something very wrong in that statement

But I’m struggling to disagree with it anyway.

HAHAHA

The “check out the mom” test – that was the old standby for me and my college friends way back when.

Maybe Petrie needs to run Rubio’s mom through some drills.
