Rubio’s camp doesn’t think they are going 3, and Harden’s camp has no idea either. Sam Presti does an amazing job at keeping everyone in the dark. This draft seemed a lot more clear 40 minutes ago when Rubio was going 3rd. Everyone in the Green Room is scrambling to figure out what is going on.

You wanted them to take the best PG, I wanted them to take the best player. Trades are allowed in the NBA. They can craft this roster together. And if Evans can bring the ball up, he can play PG for the Kings.

Either one of two things is in play here

That's the part I like
Pretty nasty backcourt if (BIG IF) Evans can handle the point.
With the 4th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Rickeke Flynenningday, point guard from Europe, Memphis, Syracuse, UCLA and Parts Unknown.
Fran Fraschilla is making me want to kill myself

really?
thought he looked like he was moving in slow motion, and shooling a bunch of slow white guys. sorry.
I'm just wondering how well Rubio can penetrate in the NBA
That’s the big question for any point guard. People are pretty confident that Evans can, so I’m not too worried about the pick.
Are we sure there is no pick trading going to happen?!

We are going to regret this for 20 years
and will cost petrie his job, and deservedly so. Fuck this. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
If Evans is a bust...
There goes Petrie’s job
same thing re Ricky

Petrie...
Trust the man. This thread sounds like last years. Everyone bitching, but we know nothing. L
it happens
every year. Kings fans want X guy … we get Y guy … people bitch about Y guy …. and at the end of the year, everyone praises Petrie for being a great drafter.
If you're not first ... you're last.
Yeah, I have to admit
his interview made me smile, I like him. I can see how he’d be good for marketing. But you know what, a lot of people say he’s the better pick, a lot say Evans is better. Someone is wrong. Don’t cry about it, lets see what happens.
Don't be surprised if we don't deal Evans
I have high hopes for him. Sure I was on the Rubio bandwagon but I’m not nearly the talent evaluator as Geoff Petrie.
Father of the "Natt this!" movement.
do they have mosquitos in Spain
do they have a hundred trillion mosquitos in Spain ? Canoes?
"We are in the business of kicking butt and business is very, very good." - Charles Barkley
One more thing...
How can anyone question Petrie, until or unless he screws up.
People will say Douby
But it’s not like he was a lottery pick. I’ll take GP’s record in the draft.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
Hang in there everyone
Gotta head home in time to catch the #23.

Rubio was going to sell tickets...MAD tickets
Evans will not
Winning games will sell tickets
Let’s hope that actually happens.

Maybe in a few years, not next year
Rubio would have sold season tickets. About half the fanbase was hyped over him. He drops, Petrie passes on him.
We're keeping evans, now we need to draft an actual PG
with our second first rounder…unless that trade goes through for rodriguez…still, adding lawson wouldn’t hurt…

Flynn going #6 makes me think that Rubio’s still on the market. Then again that probably means he’s going to the Knicks.
