"This guy is the real deal"- Gavin (getting excited)
Here is an idea. Trade Kevin Martin to the Wolves, for Rubio and another player to be named to tweak out the contracts. I just think we should start really fresh. Put the ball in Rubio's hands and let Tyreke roam free and play the two would be amazing. i see some Dwayne wade with a Richmond shooting touch.
Rubio
Tyreke
Garcia?
Thompson
Hawes
eek..free agent signing starts in a little over a week.

I just don't see
why the Kings would do that trade. You’d be exchanging a known player, the best player on your team, with an unknown. I think GP is expecting Tyreke to play point (along with Sergio). If he wanted Rubio running point, he would have drafted him.

A deal I'd consider is
KMart for Rubio and KLove. Anything else except AL J is not worth it.

Tyreke doesn't have Wade's athleticism or Mitch's shooting touch
In fact, I don’t even think he has Wade’s shooting touch or Mitch’s athleticism.

I know this is blasphemy
But I don’t think Richmond was ever a 40% shooting guard. He was just the best we had during the 14 year “Veil of Tears” Would you want a 40%er now?

To add to my own thought
He may have actually been the reason the Kings were so bad for so long.

Am I getting old or something?
Mitch was not the REASON the Kings were bad for so long. The reason is that he was playing with jokers like Olden Polynice and Jim Les and Pete Chilcutt and a bunch of people whose names I can’t even believe I remember.
He also shot above 40% from 3 most of the time he was with the Kings.

Not blasphemy
Might be ignorance though: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/richmmi01.html
Career .455 FG% and .388 from three.
With the 4th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Tyreke Evans, STUD out of Memphis.
