New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

Sorry, just couldn't resist this "breaking news" from Channel 3. Your inside source for the latest up-to-the-minute Kings news.

I especially liked this part. "Rambis once served as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers."

Dang these guys are good!

They certainly are good!

I especially liked:

The Kings have been without a coach since Reggie Theus was fired in December.

Which all makes sense, Brad became the defacto coach

and the rest of the team took it the wrong way when he said the offense would revolve around him playing in the high post

Investigative journalism at its best

Thank goodness for KCRA – not sure where we could have pulled this information otherwise.

by otis29 on Jun 3, 2009 12:45 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Agreed, but we really need KCRA's vaunted "team coverage"

“We have team coverage tonight of Kurt Rambis’ possible hiring as the Kings next head coach: Del Rodgers is at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Damany Lewis is at New Mexico State University, Edie Lambert is at the Forum in Inglewood, Mike TeSelle is at Supercuts in Natomas, David Bienick is at Folsom Lake, but we begin tonight with Sharokina Shams at Vision Service Plan in Rancho Cordova. Sharokina?”

Is Sharokina hot?

Absolutely

valid question.

This just added to the story:

“Our sources also indicate that Rambis may have sported facial hair in the past, possibly a beard, though we are unable to confirm at this time.”

Additional Breaking News

Rambis may have played in the NBA. Details at 10.

No, they could never figure that out

Rambis wore glasses during his playing days, and doesn’t now = 2 different people. It’s like the Superman/Clark Kent thing.

That's funny

because he actually is wearing Superman glasses in the stock photo they put up next to the blurb.

by furious.d on Jun 3, 2009 2:21 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Did Rambis go to Lasik & Newman for his laser eye surgery?

That’s important stuff Kfan.

At least they got the part about how the Kings haven't had a coach

since firing Reggie Theus. Kenny Natt was more of a body that stood where the coach did and made a face throughout the game.

Yeah, made me wonder if they were just being facetious...

but I think that would be giving them far too much credit.

You will not speak ill of KCRA

Probing coverage, indeed.

Get Real

Bring back Stan Atkinson. Loyd Lyndsay Young can run the Doppler Offense.

Wow

Can you imagine Lloyd Lindsay Young and Jerry Reynolds in the same room together? The combined power of their folksiness would shred the fabric of the space-time continuum and the universe would collapse in on itself.

by AnotherStupidSN on Jun 4, 2009 8:27 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Can you say Pulitzer?

Apparently KCRA has been cutting staff. So they sent one of their crack reporters from their vaunted Entertainment Bureau to report on this one.

This just in: Merv Griffin expected to be the No. 1 overall pick.

here he is showing his expected draft position with the Clippers
