With Derrick Rose looking like a surefire superstar and the Bulls seemingly planning on resigning Ben Gordon, the Bulls may be feeling that Hinrich is expendable (not sure why, they already lost Thabo Sefolosha and have no viable third guard on their roster).
Is Hinrich worth a Bulls-Kings Trade Part 2? The guy was good enough to be on Team USA a couple of years ago and, while his scoring may have gone down, most people still consider him one of the best defensive guards in the league.
If he is indeed worth exploring, what would it take? Certainly not the 4th pick. How about Beno and Greene for Hinrich and the Bulls pick? Or Greene, K9 and one of our latter picks?
Any ideas, anyone?
Also, is Rafer Alston a viable option as a FA signing?
