Next Sacramento King - Tyreke Evans (I Just Feel It)
I really feel that Rubio will be gone by #4 and Tyreke will be the pick. I would be all too happy. Ecstatic actually. I truly beleive that this guy will be a all-star multiple times. He has that kind of talent. 2008 McDonald's All American MVP - that's special. He's only18 too. This fanpost is to feature his best Youtube vids.

If Rubio is gone
Tyreke is my man.
My one lament is that he’s so perimeter oriented. With his height I’d love to see more emphatic dunks and finishing around the rim.

Good luck with that
That’s not Evans’ game.

All-Star/Superstar
He ranks at 99. One step under Superstar. But that’s as a freshman so it’s a bit more risky. In other words, if his stats don’t improve he will only be a solid starter in the NBA, which is still very good. A senior with a 99 means he is pretty much ready to come into the NBA and be an all-star right away. He still has to improve but as a freshman he ranks higher than 90% of all other freshman I’ve ranked statistically since 1980. His main issues is assist to turnover and 3-pt shooting.
Kings rule! (They are royalty - right?)
He has a workout here on tuesday
So I imagine we’ll have a much better sense then if he’s our guy

I like, but ...
… does anyone else get a sense of a budding Iverson, Arenas, Baron Davis or Marbury personality, to go along with his talent, from his interviews?
Yeah
Also a bit of a Tracy McGrady feel to him. That’s his favority player and who he says he models his game after. Still, I’d be happy with a 19 year old Tracy McGrady on the Kings.

He also mentioned Penny Hardaway
that’s a great player to model himself after.

Yeah but Lil' Reke just don't have the same ring to it
On the other hand, it might sound better than Lil Penny.

Jerry will take care of the it -
Tyreke is ty-riffic.
Just like in baseball, Ty goes to the runner.
Oh thank Evans!
SACTOWN ROYALTY - Try our thick creamy shakes!
Tyreke's my choice too
if we can’t afford Rubio.
I’ve got nothing against a very young T-Mac, Hibachi or Baron to the Kings.

Go Kings!
in that same vein
would a slick pass be considered a Ty massage?
Would Sacramento be re-named “Ty-land” ?
can I hear a “Evans Almighty”?
If he fails would it be “Evans Gate” ?

hmm...
Not feeling him. Nice handles, but looks like a lot of one on one play in these videos. Is that really what the Kings need?
I hope
That your feeling is wrong.
Nothing against the kid. I still have hopes for Rubio.
I’d like to see KMart, JT and SHawes play with a real point guard.
The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

Either way
Rubio would be awesome too. I would have no problems getting him. I just really doubt he’ll slip to 4. He could, but a talent like that at point guard will rarely drop 3 spots. Of course it happened with Chris Paul (shocking me) so it can happen again.

Evans is tough (WE NEED THAT) with a great handle
decent jumper, and can finish in the lane among bigs.
Will be a great rebounding guard and long defender as well
He will learn to be more unselfish and earn his fellow players’ trust.
It’s not like he’s a bad passer now. He will want minutes, so he will think pass, but ISO when necessary (Rubio can’t).
I will be happy with him or Rubio at 4; but I think Evans is gonna be a surefire star for years and we need someone who can contribute now.
I hope Petrie will not make a decision based on hype.
