Let's Lighten Up a Little: Nickname Thread Part 1
Hey guys! The drafts over and free agency and summer league are now looming ahead. My vacations finally over and its back to work. But why not have a little bit of fun first. The Kings just got three new rookies full of promise and hope. But they're missing something: Nicknames. Cause real names just aint fun. Now this isn't anything "official" or anything and you're free to call the players whatever you want, but this should be a nice way to get the creative juices flowing and have a little competition as well.
Here are the rules:
1. You can nominate as many nicknames as you want, but keep one nickname per comment. The reason will become evident in a moment.
2. Don't be an ass and hate on others nicknames. Also don't use profanity in a nickname.
3. Rec all the nicknames you like, but keep in mind rule 4.
4. The nickname (for each player) with the most recs by Friday, July 3, wins the contest. In the case of a tie for a nickname a 1 day run-off will be had.
5. Winner gets bragging rights and intense feelings of self-satisfaction.
6. In the case of Section214 winning every one, pray to your God(s)/Idol/Pet Rock that you might be worthy.
Alright, have at it!
UPDATE: TODAY IS LAST DAY TO VOTE OR NOMINATE. IF YOU SEE ONE YOU LIKE THAT HASN'T BEEN Rec'd vote for it!
Current Leaders:
Tyreke Evans: The Freak 3 recs followed by Tyger with 2 recs
Jon Brockman: Nose Job 4 recs followed by Bron Jockman with 3 recs
Omri Casspi: Gaza Stripper and Playa from Judea tied with 5 recs followed by The "O.C" with 4 recs

and in another forum I might have a lot more to say on the subject. But I’ve criticized others (Kozimor, for example) for using sports outlets to vent their poltical views. The two really don’t mix very well. That’s why it pissed me off a few years back when ESPN hired the human-porcine hybrid Limbaugh to do sports commentary. A full commitments what Im thinking of
You wouldnt get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how Im feeling
Gotta make you understand
(Chorus)Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna shoot an airball and hurt you(/End Chorus)
Weve played with each other for so long
Your ankles been aching
But youre too shy to say it
Inside we both know whats been going on
We know the game and were gonna play it
And if you ask me how Im feeling
Dont tell me youre too blind to see
(Chorus)
Give you up. give you up
Give you up, give you up
Never gonna give
Never gonna give, give you up
Never gonna give
Never gonna give, five you up
I just wanna tell you how Im feeling
