I didn't see this up on the site yet, but I'll delete if I'm mistaken. This is an Insider feature, so enter at your own risk. Here is the relevant information (and why can't we blockquote in the link area of Fanshots - or am I just missing something?):

"FREE AGENCY: Diogu's return to Kings unlikely

The Sacramento Bee reports Ike Diogu has not heard from the Kings since they declined to tender him a qualifying offer.

"I was disappointed (the Kings declined the offer), because I felt that I handled myself extremely well in a very tough situation last year," Diogu said. "I felt I could've helped the team a lot earlier than I was given the chance to, and I felt like they knew what they were getting."

Diogu's agent told the newspaper that he has no reason to believe his client is in the Kings' plans.

"I haven't had any conversations with them (since the offer was declined)," Thaddeus Foucher said. "With the way they finished up, I thought we could've got something done really quick, but obviously they went in a different direction and that's their prerogative. (But) if you look at the team and what they need, I think he'd be a perfect fit."

Lets hope its not true.

I for one like IKE. I think he’s on the verge of having a break out year and we need a guy like him to back up our bigs. From what BJax said last year IKE was killing JT & Hawes in practice on a regular basis. If that’s true and I’m assuming it is then we should sign him. It’s not like its going to cost too much money to get him.

Hmmm ..

that’s interesting. The Kings need bodies … I figured it was a given he’d be back.

For the right price ...

… maybe.

If the Kings want him, there’s a price they won’t go above. They need to let Ike test the waters and see what he can get … and if he’s not getting any bites, let him sweat a little bit.

This may me be the Ike’s agent’s way of letting the Kings know that he’s starting to sweat.

I think you're right

I’ve seen no rumors of offers heading Ike’s way. The Kings are in the driver’s seat here – if Ike gets a great offer, more power to him.

Do we really need bodies?

Under contract:

Tyreke, Sergio, Beno, Martin, Cisco, Nocioni, Greene, Omri, JT, Hawes, K9. That’s 11

Soon to be under contract:

Brockman. That’s 12

The minimum we need to carry is 13. So we really only need to sign one guy. Yeah it should be a big, but should it be a 2-3 million dollar big? I think it will be a league minimum guy.

What if

If Spencer goes down due to injury, who is the backup? JT? Not a good fit there. Greene? No way. Brockman? Please. Diogu would have been a good (and fairly cheap) backup.

One reporters opinion of a statement in the Bee

let’s not jump to conclusions. We haven’t renounced his rights as far as I know. He’s still listed as a FA on the Kings web site. He’s looking for $4.5-$5M over two years with an option on the 2nd. Don’t know if he wants a player option or he’s willing to make it a team option.

My guess is that GP is trying to work out a deal for someone like Jordon form the Clippers or McGee or Blatche from the Wiz. Not a big name big but someone that can backup Hawes and give us some minutes at the 4. Ike is our fall back guy. We can sign someone for part of our MLE and still have the $2M Bi-annual exemption to sign Ike.

I would LOVE

to get DeAndre Jordan or McGee. But McGee is considered practically untouchable (for any reasonable offer).

Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!

I'm okay with this

because we need the extra space on the bench for Sean May
