Can change this to talk about Kings coaches recently
“Let me get your take on the last few Kings coaches”
“Kings Coaches? You know what? They’re very irritating, because half of them don’t know what the hell they’re talking about”
“They just get on the sideline, and make up stuff, and they throw stuff on the walls to see if it sticks, every now and then you run into someone that knows what they’re talking about, but um for the most part, they’re a real pain in the ass.”

Agree
Watched it and the first thing that came to my mind was “throw it against the wall and see what sticks” um, kinda like your game time decisions Reggie…

Its more than half, actually
Its 75 friggin %.
BOOK IT!
Spoken like a true egomaniac
No doubt he and Peaches are on the same page on this one.
Come to think of it, Reg’s comments are far applicable to sports radio. Plenty of vacuous yammer and obsequious fawning. (“Hi Grant. Love your show…”)

Oh, and Reg, one other thing...
From Kevin Martin:
I love [Westphal]. It’s the way he talks about the game. The first time [we met], he said, ‘What do you want from all this? Where do you feel comfortable on the floor?’ It was nice to finally talk to a coach like that. He’s very wise. Very wise.
I love his coaching personality, just because it feels like back in the (Rick) Adelman days when this whole organization was just gliding by with no uptightness or things like that. I think it’s going to be great.
That’s your former best player talking, Reg. Maybe the pain-in-the-ass bloggers “living in rural areas” are onto something.

Don't you remember?
Reggie never considered K-Mart his best player. That was Ron-Ron.

In my defense
There was a period last year where Artest was gone and Kevin was the best player on the team (unless you put Salmons ahead of Martin). So my statement remains true, provided you’re willing to split hairs a bit.
BTW, I’m not convinced that this so-called interview with Reg is not totally staged—-just his little shot at the widespread blogospheric antipathy toward the guy. And how about that interviewer? Dude should try using verbs in his sentences. (“We on the same page.”)

Aykis had to be joking
And referencing “the getting the ball” moment.

I think you'll see a sports blogger
get an NBA coaching job before Reggie gets another shot at working on an NBA sideline.
It's funny
Because I didn’t think the blogs were his biggest problem. I think Natt and Musselman got it much worse from the Internets than Reggie did.
I think that's why Theus is so angry
Hell, Natt has his own verb now

I distinctly recall the use of Bulltheus though.

Don't think I came up with that one

Nope, that was me.
But, you started the ball rolling w/ Natt this
But it wasn't used that much
“Natt this” is still quite popular and will be used for a lone time

That's only because
the name Mad Cow Disease was already taken.
In Reggie's Defense
If he’s talking about the blogs that are more akin to the Sac Bee comments then his take that bloggers are a bunch ignorant, PITA, idiots that need to get a life then his opinion is pretty much right on. His reference to the occasional blogger who is pretty knowledgable was an obviously blatant reference to StR of course. :-)
So in summary
Theus spends a lot of time googling himself? And is unhappy that bloggers think he did a crappy job?

Yeah, I don't get to come into contact with people
The Magic must have been idiots for granting me media credentials for the playoffs, NBA Finals, the Orlando Pro Summer League, and any/all press conferences they hold. /arrogance
Third Quarter Collapse: An Orlando Magic blog at SB Nation | Brandon Bass: "I just play hard."
So Reggie is envious
You made it to the playoffs, while he didn’t even make it through the season.
SACTOWN ROYALTY - Try our thick creamy shakes!
It's also equally awful
That more than a handful of bloggers across SBN enjoy the same access. Shameful, even.
