Charlotte has always been good to me! And it will always be home! But.... It's time for a change! And Sacramento here I come! ;-)

O joy.

Hard to believe 843 people are interested in following Sean May...
"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon.' Need I say more?"

I did the math...
And there are precisely 843 Chili’s franchises in the continental United States.
So you do the math…

What the what?
May? Really? Do we know what he signed for and how long? Fat and micro surgery. This appears to be another bad recent FA signing. Even for the minimum, he’s not gonna’ turn it around. Remember Sheldon?…
I'm 90% sure the contract is for one year at the minimum
It’s just a stop gap.

Must be
That Diogu wanted too much $$$. If he really was disappointed not to get the $3.9 million option that didn’t bode well.

wow
Well, i hope he works out, but i just kind have a feeling that we will be seeing a lot of Shock and Hawes getting a lot of playing time.
Alright lets get these out of our systems (Thank you Google)
Sean May is so fat he shows up on radar.
Sean May is so fat, he was baptized in Sea World.
Sean May is so fat, I took a picture of him last Christmas and its still printing.
Sean May is so fat, when he went to school he sat next to everybody.
Sean May is so fat, the escape velocity from his surface exceeds 3.0 × 10^8 meters per second (speed of light)
Alright I’m done.

So cruel!
At the minimum or close to it – I’m fine with this.

Agreed
Maybe he’ll have the motivation to prove he’s still an NBA player. If not, no harm done. We needed to fill the roster slot anyway, and there will be way more quality bigs in next year’s draft than there were this year.
That's what I'm hoping
On Draft Express’s current top 10 lotto picks for next year, 6 are PF or C. And I’m pretty sure we’re going to be top 10 lotto again next year. Drafting John Wall would be pretty amazing as well I think.

I'm more upset we didn't target a Center.

I think Fesenko would have been done by now if he was available
Then again there is a chance we will be involved in a Boozer trade since we have Cap Space. If Miami trades for Boozer, Haslem is definitely going to Utah, so they won’t need Fes really.

Good low cost / high reward signing
More skills than diogu and understands the game better
He will be a nice addition to complement JT
BUT STOP with the fat posts, its irrelevant, talk about the game
Sean May doesn’t have a attitude problem, he was out for more then a year, it is always hard to come back, but when in shape – like he now is, else petrie wouldn’t sign him – he is a good player, ala glen davis only much cheaper
It worries me to say as a sacramento fan i enjoy the portland fanposts more – they at least analysed May basketballwise when there was talk of him going to portland

We'll analyze him plenty
but if you look at how crappy this team’s been you’ll realize that we need to have a sense of humor to keep from going insane.
I just worry about how his halftime donut breaks will effect his on court performance
www.mancancook.net
We'll have to assign one rookie just for his donuts.

He's bench fodder
Seriously, do we need to overanalyze this guy? He has some skills, but his work ethic, health and conditioning are questionable. He could be a pleasant surprise or he could wave a towel all year – or something in between.
I don’t think anyone here is missing out on the ability this guy has. It’s a signing with some upside, but I don’t think we should be expecting too much.
And he is fat, which is not irrelevant for an NBA player.
No Otis, You're HUGELY mistaken
This is a BIG signing. May will have an ENORMOUS impact without us having to give him a FAT contract.

I look at like this
He’s probably being paid less than $3000 a pound….Kobe gets over 85,000 per pound
Our team
Speed, Havoc, Noce, Shock and Hawes
Cisco, Sergio and next year’s lottery pick.
I’m not sure it’s worth even discussing the other guys.
Life is every mammal's journey from very very wet to very very dry.
When healthy...
…we’ll have a dangerous backcourt, and a subpar front court. And defensively, we’ll be bottom third of the League.
The hope is that Havoc kicks butt and improves, that KMart stays healthy and shows some D, that Shock and Hawes develop.
And that the lottery balls are kind in June.
Life is every mammal's journey from very very wet to very very dry.
A Little Perspective...
Let us all remember that Oliver Miller was once a King. May is looking pretty svelt now, eh?
Sean May will make all of you eat your words...
…if he does not eat them for you first.
