Blazers Shopping Bayless?
The guy's talented. Portland didn't get their starting SF with their money this year. How does would Nocs fit in there?

The source for this is Hoopsworld
so you have to realize the exact opposite, which is that Portland is not shopping Bayless at all.

Yeah, why would they do that?
The guy is young, cheap, and though unproven and unimpressive in the VSL, still has a big upside. The Blazers went out of their way to get him following last year’s draft. And they just signed Andre Miller, a proven veteran at point guard who can mentor Bayless over the next two (or three) seasons. Why would they just cut him loose now when he is their only young PG prospect (unless you want to count Petteri Koponen)?
Sounds like a candidate for the Bogus Rumor Pile.

They'd want to cut him loose because he needs a lot of time to develop
and he’s not in a position to learn on the fly while the team still contends like Greg Oden is. It makes sense for them to shop him to fill a need.
Unfortunately, it is Hoopshype which means its total bullshit. Which sucks because I’d love to pick up Bayless. I’d love to have to PGs from Portland in the hopes that one of them turns out to be great so we can rub it in their faces. Bastards!

Hoopshype is a pretty good site, IMO
I think you meant Hoopsworld.
I can’t see them wanting to get rid of Bayless. Blake is gone after this year, and MIller is guaranteed for two years. Meanwhile, they can keep paying Bayless about $2 million a year and see if he develops into a Bobby Jackson-type guy. Now, if someone is offering them something cheap and tangible, I’m sure that they’ll at least take the call. But I can’t see where they benefit from moving Bayless, or where it hurts them to hold onto him for the time being.
