Early Schedule Leaks
The 2009-10 NBA schedule will be released in full next week, but leaks are starting to make their way out. ClutchFans, for example, got the whole Rockets schedule. We draw the Rockets a full four times. Here they are, according to the ClutchFans leak:
- November 13 in Sacramento
- November 21 in Houston
- March 3 in Houston
- April 12 in Sacramento
I'm calling it -- that Nov. 21 game is a must-win for the Kings. (Actually, the status of the Kings brings up a good question: are you even excited to see the '09-10 schedule? While in contention, the road trips and back-to-backs seemed to be a wee bit more important.

The one in Sacramento for sure
I’m not willing to venture easily winnable for any of the games in Houston.
BOOK IT!
No Yao, no T-Mac, no Ron-Ron
It’ll have to be Brooks, Battier, and Scola beating us

Wasn't that the team that took the defending champions to 7 games?
Although Evans v. Brooks is going to be mighty interesting.

"Easily winnable"
is not in the Sacramento Kings’ lexicon at this point in time.

Absolutely I'm excited about the schedule.
The past few years, the Kings have had a December game in Utah, which I can usually get SB to get me tickets to for my birthday.
Keep the tradition alive!

of the 5 games I went to last year I really looked forward to the Rockets game in April
wanted to see Yao (truly an awesome spectacle to witness in person) and the ARCO return of Ron-Ron.
Hope Yao makes it back sometime next season, and I am Rick Adelman fan but I wouldn’t mind handing an L or three.
It seems that the last few seasons
the Kings have been on the road for the 1st 3-4 games. It’s usually the other teams home opener as well. Can we get a break this year?
Ba-da
Damn right November 21st is a must-win
It’s my brother’s birthday. By the way, who else thinks we start the season on a 4 game road trip again. That Nov. 13 Houston game is probably our home opener.

No doubt
Bad teams seem to always start on the road (except the big, big opening night games). When we were good we usually started at home (or China), even hosting LeBron’s debut in 03-04.
I remember that debut
and thinking this kid’s for real.

I remember thinking
“wow, too bad the next best player on this kid’s team is Larry Hughes”
www.mancancook.net
I remember watching him in warm ups
bad release…airballed 3 shots from the corner. I was thinking this kid is all hype…and then the game started. my bad.
KHTK this afternoon
… paraphrase “Peaches” … the NBA scheduler told him the Kings will open multiple games on the road.
