Boozer to CHI in 3-team trade?
I linked this, because it appears UTA's goal is to clear cap space. Why not make it a four-team trade? I'd do this:
Boozer, Rodriguez to Bulls
Hinrich to POR
Fesenko, Ty Thomas, Bayless to SAC
I don't know if Utah has actual interest in TT, or his expiring k. Also, I'm sure POR likes Bayless, but if they're getting Hinrich...you never know.

I wouldn't mind the Kings getting in there somehow
to get some of the small pieces like Fesenko, or draft picks, or even cash. We don’t need to do much or make a big move, I just wouldn’t mind a little more activity from the front office.
Not a criticism, just an observation.
Yahoo sports is reporting otherwise
Bulls haven’t had a "single conversation" about a 3-way deal Blazers and "have nothing going" with Utah about Boozer, Bulls source tells Y!.

So Utah gets nothing?
and we somehow land Fesenko, Ty Thomas, AND Jerryd Bayless?
Yes, please

The article states that Utah wants to clear cap space.
Because the Kings and POR are currently under the cap, we can absorb salary and Utah doesn’t have to take equal amount back.
So, while you say they’re getting “nothing,” I say they’re getting the cap relief they desire to resign Millsap.
Also, that is why I alluded to their interest in TT, because if they solely want cap space, we can give them more of it.
Smart ass.

I still kind of wonder why Portland gets involved? Would the rather have Hinrich than Millsap? Because doing this assures they don’t get Millsap. Although it’d still be funny for them to make a ridiculous offer to him that the Jazz would have to match

I think they would rather have Hinrich than Millsap
Hinrichs an upgrade for them at point. Aldridge is their future at the same position as Millsap (although I think Aldridge could play the 3 in a pinch)

What an outrageously retarded trade situation. Three uber-prospects for SAC, a pg with a dilapidated reputation for POR, and nothing for Utah. Yeah, that’s going to happen.
So essentially we trade
Rodriguez for Fesenko, Thomas, AND Bayless? Sign me up!

ummm...according to your trade
Utah gives up Boozer and Fesenko gets ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in return. Yea, that aint going to clear the NBA HQs offices…
Yes, Utah wants to lower their cap, but I seriously doubt that they wanna lower it that much.
They still have to fill out a roster and still want to be competitive this year. If it weren’t for the injuries last year, Utah probably would have been a top 4 team in the West.
Reference the ESPN reported trade
The only that the Kings get involved in that trade is if they can make a better offer than what Portland is doing.
Basically, Portland is going to spend 2/3rd (around $5 mil) of its cap space on acquiring Hinrich from Chicago and then Chicago is adding some of their own cap space (they are roughly $3 mil under now that Ben Gordon has signed) to package with Tyrus Thomas (expiring contract) to Utah to get Carlos Boozer.
And then Portland is also making an offer to Milsap so that Utah can match it to help facilitate all this because Utah doesn’t want to let Boozer go without knowing that Milsap is there to take his spot.
So basically for the Kings to “get in on this”, they are going to have to make a better offer to Utah (talentwise and contract wise) then Tyrus Thomas which I don’t think they can do…
Say goodbye to another opportunity Mr. Petrie
Opportunity?
Just because I have the “opportunity” to chew on tin foil does not mean that I will take advantage of said “opportunity.” But since you brought it up, how would you better this deal, thus placing the Kings in the driver’s seat?
