Kings Sign Jon Brockman
The Seattle Times is reporting this afternoon that the Kings have signed second-round pick Jon Brockman to a contract. Brockman tweeted this morning that he was driving to Sacramento from Washington. Times reporter Bob Condotta speculates it's a "make-good" contract (unguaranteed), but I'm sure there's some substantial guaranteed cash in there. In fact, probably two years worth of guaranteed cash.
Updates to come. 30Q entry on Brockman later this afternoon.

Maybe they should give the dude enough money to afford movers and a plane ticket on Southwest.
It is about time...
Welcome to the Kings Mr. BLOCKman.
I wonder how much this Nose Job will cost?

i am super excited
About Brockman! I <3 brockman, i wished we gave him a little bit more money, you know; because he works so hard. Sac-Towns’ BIRD MAN!!!
Except with less shot blocking
And hopefully more rebounding, better man D, and no drug habit.

Excited but...
Bird man is way more athletic. I really wouldn’t compare the two IMO. Hoping for the best though.
October 28th couldn't come soon enough.

seeing how he is going to get the most use out of Jockman

Glad he's signed.
He can rebound, hustle and push smaller people around. However, he’s slower than most at his position and I’m not sure he’ll be able to guard most of the other forwards around the league. I wish him luck but it’ll be a rough rookie year for him.
