Free-agent swingman Desmond Mason met with the Sacramento Kings this week and could sign as soon as Thursday.

Mason took a physical after meeting with Kings officials in Sacramento on Wednesday, a person with knowledge of the meeting told The Associated Press.

Let me clarify

I like the move if we make it. Love the guy. Am worries about his injuries. But please, please, please, don’t let it eat up a ton of cap space.

The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

This confuses me greatly

Wait

just looked at him more closer. He’s another swingman? What are we doing here?

When I saw This. I Thought...

Another guard-swingman, really? REALLY!?!

I think Mason’s a decent player and all, but how does this address team needs?

Then again, I guess coming off a 17-win season, the team needs everything. Welcome to Sactown, Mr. Mason. I just wish we had some more serviceable big men on the way, too.

Amick is saying one year minimum deal

So the money is right. But still another swingman?

guaranteed or non-guaranteed?

its gotta be a non-guaranteed training camp invite, no? he gets an audition for us and every other team through pre-season. Otherwise, i’m stumped.

The Kings Like Swingmen...

…like David Kahn likes point guards.

Mr Petrie...

This move makes no sense to me. I have followed the reasoning reasonably well in most of your previous decisions, but this move is baffling! We need another swingman like we need another rack of balls. Unless this is a precursor to a trade involving one or more of our many many swingmen, then I am at a loss…

Another year, another chance to hope for the team !!
