Great Vid. Thanks for sharing.

Hope the next one includes Tyreke. I heard he was coming to town. Did he actually arrive?

Is that Bobby Jackson in the white shirt near the end?

Yes, he's been playing for a month or so according to Donte's twitter comments.

The question is “Who’s the tall guy with the Dreads?”.

Great to see Bobby

That was a bit of a rush.

Francisco rules that ladder stepping thing. Looks like a damn Riverdancer.

Bobby stopped by my work the other day

I didn’t want to ask him if he was going to sign with anybody. I thought it might be a sensitive subject for him. But he’s definitely here with the family. Let’s hope he’s involved with the organization in some facet.

Here's a thought

Would you support Westphal if he puts May in the starting lineup (assuming he’s producing well), and brings JT as the first big off the bench to backup Spence and May? He’d still get a lot of minutes, bring in great energy off the bench and it could help our size problem. Again this is all assuming May plays well, and perhaps outperforms JT.

Competition

Hey, in preseason and the early part of the season, if anyone outperforms anyone else, they deserve the spot. If May beats out JT, give it to May. If Garcia beats out Martin, give it to Garcia. If Mason beats out Nocioni, give it to Mason.

But I hope Westphal won’t reward the veterans unduly. The best players need to be on the floor, with fit as an obvious concern.

I'll agree with you there

And I might need to expound on my idea of May being a starter and JT coming off the bench, but I think I’ll have to wait for Pre-season at least to see how they’re both performing.

Also, is there a deadline for the Kings to invite people to training camp/pre-season still? I was perhaps hoping for a Benson or Landry invite.

Once again - May looks very very good

(worth repeating)
I do wonder who the dreadlocked guy is,
I do think some muscle is probably still missing – love to see someone truly physical out there
and yes, IF May looks good enough (a big if) the idea of JT coming off the bench for big minutes appeals to me.

The Olympic bar by itself is usually 45 lbs, although they can be lighter

Looks like the yellow plates on the bar were 25 lbs each; the green one looked skinnier, so maybe 20 lbs. I’m guessing 135 lbs total.

Spencer

I agree with the above statements, Spencer looked good. But, I hate to say, some of the shots of him running made me cringe a little. When he’s running quickly, he runs like a guy who has bad knees. I know because I have bad knees, and he runs like I do. It hurts to watch.

Some of this may be out of habit, after experiencing knee issues like Spencer has, you tend to adjust your run to try to protect yourself. Unfortunately, this can (sometimes) cause other problems.

I don’t think its anything to worry too much about. But it triggered a flag in my mind when I saw it. Something for us to remember as we go along.

Never forget: I am a complete idiot

Will do

What I do like though is that he seemed to be the quickest and fastest of the bigs during the agility drill. That has to account for something. And he hasn’t missed any significant time yet during his still young career, so hopefully the surgeries he had at a young age fixed him and the running might just be a force of habit.
