Remembering the Worst: Skunked By the Lakers in 1987
Maybe I'm a masochist, but watching these clips of Reggie's Kings get blown out by Showtime in the first quarter -- the score is 29-0 at one point -- is a bit funny. It was probably not a barrel of laughs back in the day, however.

I remember watching that game..
and it was brutal. Magic had the game in complete control. The thing the I remember most was not being angry but being in awe of how much better a team the Lakers were and how Magic was toying with the Kings. Anyone wanting to make an arguement for Magic as the best ever can enter this as exhibit A. The only thing better was Chic. Not sure what he was wearing but in my mind’s eye I see Ron Burgundy sipping a fine scotch sitting courtside on mic.
Damn you Robert Horry!!!
I also remember watching that game
I went from irritation to anger to astonishment to resigned laughter in less than 25 minutes. Epic.

Pretty much my reaction at the time as well.
It was not pretty.
Ball movement ... is like jogging for most people: They do it occasionally, and it makes them happy. Then they go back to not doing it. - Henry Abbott

I remember I was listening to it on the radio as a kid..
Gary Gerould wore out the words “clinic” and “oh my” within a couple minutes.
