Tyreke IS a point guard!
According to Stan Van Gundy: "It seems to me that Tyreke, even though he can play off the ball, is more of a point guard, and certainly it seems like he wants to get the ball to other people. Kevin is one of the great scorers in our league, so I don't know why it wouldn't work, really."

I'm getting pretty tired of even discussing it
I do think the Kings need Beno for another year or two however.

Come on, this is Stan VanGundy.
What’s he even done in this league besides take one team from 25 wins to 42, make it to the Eastern Conference Finals twice, the NBA Finals once, and amass a 223-126 career record. Clearly guys like Hollinger, Sheridan, and Simmons know the game of basketball better than this guy – and they tell me Tyreke is not a point guard.
Seems like that’s settled.

Thanks, Stan
Now, if you could run to Kinko’s and fax that out to all of the national sportswriters…

Wonder if they hired him to be a sponsor after that.
Kinko’s when you absolutely, positively, maybe, probably not, definitely won’t, take the job you were just flown out for.

If I were Stan
I would have picked Orlando too. Yes, the Kings might not have had the worst record in the NBA last year if he had become the coach, but instead of going to a mediocre to bad club, he goes to a good to great club and reaches the Finals.

especially the way he coaches
He gets all emotional after the Magic lose games. How would he have dealt with a 17 win season? He probably would have killed somebody if he had to coach the Kings the last couple of years.
Well that's one way of getting out of bad contracts
Was it Dirty Harry who said, “Nothing wrong with killing as long as the right people get killed”?
I can live with his decision
Just not the way he handled it. It could have been done with a lot more class.
