Question:

It looks like Reke has a good chance to get a triple double tonight. Does anyone know what players have had a triple double in their rookie season, or where to find it?

Top scoring backcourt in the league after the all-star break:

K-Mart and Reke vs. the Field.

I think I’m betting on K-Mart and Reke.

Hopefully Spencer can play like he did in the first half

but cut out the turnovers and make a couple more shots. 5 rebounds / 2 blocks isn’t bad though.

Good news / bad news

Good news – The starting backcourt is on pace for a 52 point, 14 rebound, 14 assist night on 60% true shooting.

Bad news – We’re also on a pace to lose by 8.

Seems like

At least half of the Kings turnovers are caused by passing up open jumpers and getting stripped when they drive or overpass.

So they are worried about missing the shot, and they end up with no shot. And the other team often ends up scoring in transition.

yeah,

and I’m not getting on your case coolcat, but think of it this way:

The less optimal shooters are going to keep shooting till either they become one or they get traded for one. If you don’t accept it now, and move on, then you’re going to be extremely frustrated over the course of the next two years. If you do accept it now, chances are you’ll live a lower blood-pressure life, and that’s always good (well, as long as its not to low). But if your going to keep getting angry every time Spence, Greene, Omri, Sergio jack up a shot they shouldn’t have, then you’re going to be angry every game this season. That’s not a fun way to live life, just get on the gravy train and have Shaw3s sandwich.
