He doesnt have to write up daily rumors and is trying to keep his best players, not give them away for someone else to win. The thing I dont get is why writers think every team with a losing record wants to get rid of their best players for next to nothing so another team can make a run deep into the playoffs?

to clarify..
teams interested in Martin seem to be in the “win now” mode and, based on the rumors I’ve read about, are only willing to part with lesser talent in a deal for him. Whereas teams who’d want Casspi, rebuilding teams, might be more willing to unload a superstar for his youth and upside. I’d love to see a big three of Martin, Evans, and Bosh (or other similar marquee talent) happen… and if getting rid of Casspi was a way to make it so then I’ll quote Kobe and say: “ship his ass out.”

Makes me really appreciate STR. Have you read the comments on sacbee’s website? Those people are just utter complete morons it makes me wana punch myself in the face. I mean ther are a difference of opinion here but most disagreements are atleast educated opinions.
