Tyreke Evans
I love Evans!
What we are watching from this rookie is history in the making. He is averaging 20 pts 5 reb and 5 assists a game. We should truly feel special, and lucky that he fell into our hands with the 4th pick. Honestly I felt terrible once we had the 4th pick in the summer. I thought for sure the basketball gods were "finally" going to reverse our fortunes and grant us with the first pick. Now im glad we didnt get the first pick because Tyreke is everything this franchise needed. I dont understand why some of the so called fans come in here and rant about Evans, and how he messes up sometimes (at the end of games). Look he is only 20 yrs old and he is running a NBA team. The PG position is the hardest positon to run the league, and yet people still think he should be perfect in every facet of the game. I play college basketball and i know the hardships of running a team. I cant even imagine how much pressure is on this kid to come through for this franchise. The way he took over in Charlotte was really awesome. (Now if we can just get some low post help cough cough JT and Hawes). Evans is playing at an unbelievable pace, and I hope yall understand this is just the beginning of something very special in Sacramento.

I'll be honest
That whole “Blueprint” thing is starting to freak me out a bit.
The future begins now...

I was more disappointed that we didn't get Griffin
I felt we could really really use the help inside and we see that this year. Its too bad Griffin went to the Clippers. They have some terrible luck with their drafting. Even when they land a sure fire top prospect, he gets hurt.
Tyreke has been better than anything I could have expected to be honest. In time he will surely turn into a sure superstar and when that transformation does complete, this team will be a finals contender. I think if he can work on that jump shot all summer, he will be almost unstoppable.
God
has obviously blessed us with Tyreke Evans. Sure we could’ve got the 1st pick of the draft, but apparently 1st isn’t always the best. They said that Griffin was the man to have for the 2009 draft. Now where is the pick of the draft? He’s in Sacramento and catching everyone’s eyes. God am I so glad they gave us 4th pick. I love Tyreke and what he’s done. Tyreke, if you are reading this, I am greatful you came to us, and have fun enjoying your ROTY Award. You deserve it over anyone. Brandon Jennings 55 point game? Step down because Tyreke is consistent. Ricky Rubio? Your moves are flashy and it will be fun watching you. When you come to the league…. when is that again? Thabeet was chosen 2nd? And only gets 10.8 minutes, 2.8 PPG, and 1.2 PPG? (is that right? i checked espn.com) Hmmm. James Harden is a step above Thabeet, but still all bow to Tyreke. So in conclusion, we get 4th pick, wind up with the 2009 pick of the draft, and we get a star. TGI Tyreke’s! Sorry Griffin, maybe next year.
