we win by buzzer beater

In quad overtime

Sure we could’ve got the 1st pick of the draft, but apparently 1st isn’t always the best. They said that Griffin was the man to have for the 2009 draft. Now where is the pick of the draft? He’s in Sacramento and catching everyone’s eyes. God am I so glad they gave us 4th pick. I love Tyreke and what he’s done. Have fun enjoying your ROTY award Tyreke.

Curry is the type of player i hate debating

To me he is inherently flawed like Kevin Martin. I just can’t see how he can defend. But at the same time i really can’t take away how solid he has been and i might not like his defense but at least he gets alot of steals and isn’t a complete push over

by wallywagon11 on Jan 26, 2010 7:57 PM PST up reply actions

Of course

I can see why. I can see a lot to like in both Curry and Ellis. “Not bad” is certainly meant as a compliment. But still… he is no Havoc. Not even close.

Tyreke you are not a jump shooter. Go to the hole

by DaPorts! on Jan 26, 2010 8:15 PM PST reply actions

He's a guard

he’s going to have to shoot some jump shots. As long as he doesn’t fall in love with it, can we really complain?

He played a great half.

Free Omri...trade.Noc.

by ForThree on Jan 26, 2010 8:16 PM PST up reply actions

On that play, I don't want to see him dance around near the 3 point line

He is at his best going to the hole. He needs that killer instinct at the end of the half to develop into a superstar. Look at how he won the Bucks game for instance. That is how you finish halves.

by DaPorts! on Jan 26, 2010 8:18 PM PST up reply actions

Lol

how often do superstars finish halves with a jumpshot?

75%+? something like that

Its not game 7 of the finals, its ending the first half in January, the defense gave him that shot, no reason not to take it.

Free Omri...trade.Noc.

by ForThree on Jan 26, 2010 8:20 PM PST up reply actions

That is not his game though

He is not a jump shooter. I know this isn’t some great important game but he has shown the ability to get to the hole at will and I think that is exactly what he should have done on that play. His jumper is something that he will have to work on all summer because he is most likely the worst shooter on the team.

by DaPorts! on Jan 26, 2010 8:22 PM PST up reply actions

Terrible end to the half, but we're still up 11

what did you think about his half

I thought Kevin forced a couple of shots and then passed on a couple he should have taken, but its tough to kill a guy too much for not shooting when he’s 1-7.

by ForThree on Jan 26, 2010 8:22 PM PST up reply actions

It's funny

Everyone yells at Noc for shooting when he’s off, and everyone yells at Kevin for not shooting when he’s off. I guess the moral is don’t miss your shots.

Unfortunately, the only reason Kevin is in there

is to shoot and score. If he can’t do that, we have a lot better options to fill that slot.

PW should not have

started Kmart as soon as he came back. He should have come in off the bench and worked his way back in.

Aya

This is really really concerning.

Still TO gallore. Really stupid TO too.

JT not playing to his game. Someone from the Kings, needs to sit him down and give him a good hammering, and really guide him through this funk.

Kmart. like JT not playing his game. His game is to score. Like his D and his all round effort, but passing up shots…come on man, if Kmart don’t score, then what use is he?

Curious with Kevin, you think he is being told to play like this. I don’t understand whats up with his game. Hasn’t worked this entire time back. Or maybe his injury isn’t as healed as we think. Maybe he needs to tune his shots? I don’t know somethings def not right with him.
