Sac Bee: Cisco suffers a setback
"Francisco García was hoping to play in about two weeks, but his return will be pushed back after he fell on his injured wrist during practice on Thursday."

well its not like we need him back so we can compete for a championship.
Let him heal up some more. I agree with his own statement that he needs to be fully healed before he tries to come back.
Honestly I think this is good
Give this current group more time to gel before throwing another wrench into the rotation mix.
Get well soon Cisco, but don’t come back till you’re 100%.

Im just happy
that he’s able to practice and help the young guys get better, even if its just on the practice court.
Oh Jeezzzzz
This is just cruel… Best wishes Cisco!
Hard work beats talent when talent is hardly working...
When I read the article this morning
It didn’t really sound like the fall set him back. More like he was really sore after the fall which made them realize he wasn’t as far along as he hoped. I think it’s one of those things where until he can take a fall or a jam and play the next day, he isn’t really ready to come back.

Get well Cisco
Can’t wait untill your 100%, and back in the lineup, so everyone can see what this young team will look like with everyone heathly!
GO KINGS BABY!
"I dont just go tatoo any muthafucka on my chest! dis is ma life line! my LEGACY!!!
I don't think...
Cisco will be as valuable as StR believes he will be. Yes, he is young. Yes, he has a little versatility. I just never have been very impressed with him. I know I will be hated for saying this. It’s just how I feel. I hope he does exceed my expectations when he comes back though.
If Nocioni isn't traded at the deadline
I’ll agree with you. The Kings have too many small forwards. But Cisco can be very valuable. He’s been the only real “clutch” player on the Kings for the past year and a half, and he always plays with intensity. He’s also not a bad defender and can handle the ball.

Cisco will always be one of my favorites
even if he gets traded within the next few years.

I think this is overhyped
I went to the game early. When I got there Cisco was out shooting the ball on the court. He was nailing shot after shot and he hurt his shooting arm. If he was really that hurt he would not have been out there shooting and making them.
I think they just want to temper expectations
Everytime Cisco talks to the media he’s only 2 weeks away. Dude is so eager to come back than he keeps getting everyone’s hopes up. I think it’s more of a “we have no timetable” thing. He’ll return when he’s ready. Maybe next week, maybe after the All Star break. They just want to get ir right.
The future begins now...
The team could use the injection of talent, scoring, hustle and defense
but by the time Garcia returns, much of the year will have played out. This reminds a bit of Kevin Martin’s anticipated return – we can’t wait for you to return – oh, you’re back and why haven’t things changed much?. Cisco will be a welcome return, but he isn’t of KMart caliber. I am approaching this with a wait and see attitude.
Talk of trading away Beno because Garcia will take his place are premature, and though they have little to lose at this juncture, Omri makes Cisco more expendable, and the trading deadline will have passed before the Cisco expirement has chance for judgement this season.

It may be to Garcia's benefit that the trade deadline is coming up soon...
With Garcia’s return to play continually being forestalled to give him adequate time to heal, he may be avoiding a one-way ticket out of here because he most likely avoids being traded.
