Voted 50-55… Solid season nothing fantastic.

Wow, looks like about 22% interpreted the poll to mean "How many wins do you WANT for the Heat?"

Expecting that team to win over ten games less than Lebron + scrubs have managed the last couple years seems like a bit of wishful thinking.

I voted 61-65

That said, only three teams won more than 55 games last year (Cle, LAL, Orl). The Heat (or anyone) will have to have a relatively healthy core to eclipse the 55 win mark.

Same here

I think they can win 65+ if they stay healthy all season, but injuries are just far too common in this league to expect more than 65 wins from any team.

I'm thinking 61-65 too

Enough to seal homecourt and then The Three Amigos sit the rest of the season for playoff time.

Though 56-60 is also just as likely, especially if there are some teething problems earlier in the season.

This.

I voted more than 65.

My rationale: LeBron James won 66 games with the Cavs last year, and they didn’t have Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade to support.

This is a team built to destroy the regular season

but against a big team, could falter in a 7 game series.

Agreed

It’ll be interesting to see the team’s chemistry and see if egos are a problem. Normally I would assume it would be, but somehow I think these guys are sort of different. LeBron has a huge ego, of course, but he and Wade are such good friends that I think they’ll work well together, and same with Bosh. I assume Bosh is aware that he’s the 3rd option on the team so I could see the potential problem of egos not coming to pass.

I also voted 61-65 since LeBron has had such great success in the regular season with Cleveland and the second best player on those teams was probably Mo Williams (maybe Antawn Jamison last season)….enough said.

less concerned about ego in the playoffs

and more concerned with injuries and wear and tear

I predict JT will never breathe through his nose.

Definitely

LeBron has never had a major injury and as far as I know neither has Bosh, but obviously Wade has had shoulder issues. I do think they’ve put together a pretty solid bench though and it’s definitely possible that they’ll have a lot of blowouts so Wade and LeBron and Bosh can rest.

You mean 61 games.

The Cavs won 66 games in 2009.

I don't think Miami quite gets to 60.

The top of the East is tougher. I’ll be interested to see how they fare against Boston, Orlando, Chicago etc. They should have trouble with big teams, we’ll see.
