Pooh Jeter, Jason Thompson Starting in Place of Beno Udrih, Carl Landry

Udrih has an apparently minor injury. No word on why JT is starting over Carl, though the former certainly outplayed the latter on Tuesday. Marcus Landry, Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins will also start.

I really wouldn't mind if we took him back to his roots

And had him be super 6th man scoring big. I think he might be more comfortable in that role anyway.

That’ll be a nice matchup. Hopefully, JT can keep the fouls in check.

I want to see more plays being ran in the first half. The first half seemed like a loose pickup game on Tuesday.

No that's not gonna happen

Westphal has made it clear that the only time DMC will be playing PF is offensively. He thinks (and is probably right) that he is too slow to guard PFs. So I think its going to be JT v. Griffin and Kaman v. DMC

I have to request a credential for each game through the Kings

And I originally wasn’t able to make it tonight, so I only grabbed credentials for Tuesdays game and next Tuesday’s game against the Warriors, but my plan for tonight fell through, so I’m just gonna go to the game tonight and grab a 10 buck ticket at the box office. I won’t be able to go talk to the players or coach in the locker room afterward, but Ham does a better job of that than I do, I’m more of a watching the game and putting my reactions there type person. I’m too scared of offending these players I idolize with questions, at least for now. I’ll get over it soon enough once the mystique of being a media member wears off.

I just can't read very much into this stuff.

Opening night will tell the tale, and knowing PW, it’ll be all about matchups anyway. The minutes to watch are the unsigned guys. Aside from seeing who’s getting tossed out of the boat, I don’t think there’s a story here.

Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen. And for a limited time, every third person who follows me on Twitter (andy_sims) gets a free ice cream cone.

There are all kinds of other options

I would recommend getting a hotel room and then heading to the City on Saturday to out to dinner because shopping sucks. I am not sure about the playoff schedule but if you are lucky you can go out to a bar and watch the Giants in the playoffs with all the locals or just wrap it up with some Giradeli (totally spelled wrong) goodness. Then on Sunday you might be able to avoid the shopping and go the cheaper better route and spend time either with a picknick at Golden Gate Park or maybe even go the the Legion of Honor or the Modern Art Museum. Then you go to the game.
