Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

Looks like Spencer better step-up his game if he wants to sign a big contract this summer. It didn't take him long to get on Collins shit list. It will be interesting to see if he fits into 76'ers long term plans or not.

I actually think Brand being healthy is the bigger story in Philly.

If he’s healthy, he makes that team better regardless of how I feel about him (not a fan).

The Sixers have bigger problems than Hawes

Turner the #2 draft pick is only averaging 8 ppg in 27 minutes. And, Hawes is doing better than Speights who was one of their better bigs last year.

Spencer missed half the preseason so he’s not adjusted to his new role and his teammates aren’t adjusted to him. In 50 minutes he has only 1 assist, which should tell you that the offense isn’t going thru him. He’s taken zero 3’s and is shooting far below his usual average on long jumpers. And, he has zero assisted baskets at the rim. And, that comment about not getting PT because of foul trouble is way off base. He only has 8 fouls in 3 games.

Back injuries are hard to recover from, because you usually can’t do anything while your off. Spencer has been a good offensive player and I’m sure in time his shot will return. Rebounding well, hopefully Collins can help him with that.

I'm not a fan of Evan Turner.

And I don’t feel wrong as of yet in that assessment.

Turner

Also 5+ rebounds and 3+ assists. I’d say he might be the first rookie to have a triple double in his career.

If John Wall

would have 10 turnovers, would that also count for a triple double?

3 TO per game against 9 assists so far?

I believe they call that a 3:1 A/TO ratio.

Or do I have to act like Wall is the new Curry and HOW DARE HE be mentioned as ROY?

Last night he had 8 turnovers

and 9 steals, almost a quadruple-double.

Look at his college number and you understand the concern. But apart from that, I think he’s a great player, and he seems to be a frontrunner for rookie of the year, together with Griffin and DMC.

I could see that

I could also see it being DeMarcus on a night where he doesn’t get into foul trouble and is able to play for 36 minutes, because he’s got 21.7 PPG, 10.3 RPG and 3.5 APG per 36 through those first 4 games.

Griffin I don't see getting a triple double anytime soon simply because he's not that great of a passer

But he’ll definitely lead all rookies in double doubles.

Wall is perhaps the most favored to have a triple double first in my opinion, because his teammates are so poor he might have to do everything himself.

And as I say that he puts up 29 points, 13 assists, 9 steals

That’s almost a triple double with STEALS.
