Future of the Kings?

First of all, I would like to start by saying that I am not here to annoy anyone, rabble rouse, or make light of the precarious situation that your franchise is in . . . I know what it is like to lose a franchise, it sucks, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone (well maybe I'd wish it on St. Louis when it comes to the NFL).

Now that I got that out of the way, I would like to ask the die-hard fans of the Sacramento Kings what the situation is with a possible new arena in Sacramento and whether or not the rumors of a possible move are legitimate. The reason I ask on this page, is that I know, for the most part, die-hard fans congregate at these blogs run by SBN and that true die-hard fans know pretty much everything that is going on with their team. I know this is true, because I am a die-hard fan of the Cal Bears, LA Angels, and Anaheim Ducks and I know almost everything (way too much, actually) about those teams. What do you think will end up happening to your franchise in the next few years?? From what I have heard, the Maloofs and Commissioner Stern have been working hard on the arena situation to no avail and that the commissioner has actually given up. Is this true? I keep on hearing rumors that the Kings may move to Anaheim (beautiful, state-of-the-art arena, if I do say so myself—I'm a little biased as a Ducks fan), Seattle (same arena problem as Sacramento), Vegas (gambling has to be a major hurdle along with the fact that there is no arena there either), or Kansas City (beautiful arena, but do the Maloofs really want to go to KC?). Again, what do you all think is in the future of your franchise?

Thank you for your answers and I hope I have not upset anyone by posting on this site. I keep hearing these rumors and I would like to get as many answers as humanly possible and I know that the Maloofs aren't going to answer my questions, so I was hoping you all would to the best of your knowledge. Again, I would like to wish you all luck and hope all of you out in Sacramento find a way to keep your team for the long haul. I know what it is like to lose team, I lost the Rams in 1994 because of a stadium issue and it was heart wrenching . . . I wish you all the best. Thank You.
