not saying this just because JT had that great 1st half..

but I think that Landry should be in a 6th man role with JT starting. He (JT) seems to have trouble getting involved with spot minutes from the bench, and Landry played so well coming of the bench for Houston, dominating other teams’ second units..

JT is doing great tonight

"For five decades (and counting), these fans have been blessed with West, Baylor, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Shaq and Kobe. Seven of the 15 best players ever. At some point, the gravy train will end. The Lakers will bottom out like the Knicks did last decade, submarined by bad moves, poor signings and unlucky drafts. Their fans will flee in droves. Jack will pass away. The buzz will be gone. That's how the NBA works -- in a 30-team league, you can't always get lucky, not even if you're a big-market team with deep pockets. I don't know if that day is three years off or 30, but it's coming." Bill Simmons

Chicago is playing well enough to win but the Kings are just taking it right to them. This is the best kind of victory assuming the Kings finish out.

I'm starting to see a pattern

He just needs to work better for position. Or just get taken out. Every time he makes a move from the high post results in a leakout or a turnover in favor of the other team.

by betweentheeyes on Nov 27, 2010 9:46 PM PST up reply actions

Right.

Some of it was the Bulls, but let’s be honest: The Kings just let the Bulls dictate what spots they were getting to on the floor. The Bulls have a talented young group of players, but mostly the Bulls savvy as a group showed tonight. The veterans they got on that team showed their presence on the floor.

They played hard for a victory even though it would have been difficult for them to win. That says something about the Bulls. They really impressed me, and I think people are sleeping them because of that 9-6 record.

The Bulls are legit IMO. And will only get better when Boozer comes back.

Rose has raised it a notch

Noah has continued to improve. Winning, of course, makes every better or at least look it. And yes, the moves Chicago made in the off season are gelling (jelling?). Deng is healthy which also helps – at one point he was the main cog.

by betweentheeyes on Nov 27, 2010 9:50 PM PST up reply actions

Rose Boozer Deng Noah are a talented 4. Not more talented than Boston but close to it.

I would take them over Miami that’s for sure. They complement each other amazingly well. This Bulls team is no joke, but I wanted to see the Kings play a complete game against top notch competition. It was all there and they couldn’t do it. I’m mostly frustrated that this is going to be a long season unless the team does a complete 180 that nobody could possibly see coming.

Well

have a good one Kings fans. Perhaps when I visit again, the outcome will be more propitious. It’s the curse of not having Kayte Christensen, sigh…. she’s a cutie

Silly Kings for not being table to shoot the ball and turning it over and over.

This.

by elfboy_ on Nov 27, 2010 9:48 PM PST up reply actions

I don't know why

but after this game I’m actually angry, like really angry.

I think it has to do with the fact I missed the Kings best half of the season, come in and then they lose like this in the second half and I hear Bull chants in Arco

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Michae Bluth - "Clear as the Ann on plain's face."

Leela -" Man, I'm sore all over. I feel like I just went ten rounds with mighty Thor"
Fry - "I feel like I was mauled by Jesus. "

Homer - " When I held that gun in my hand, I felt a surge of power…like God must feel when he’s holding a gun."

The players are yelling at each other as much as you’re probably yelling at them….

by M_Shady on Nov 27, 2010 9:32 PM PST up reply actions

This is pissing me OFF

The Kings are better than that. Very bad decision making by EVERYONE, including the coach.

by Kenneth256 on Nov 27, 2010 9:31 PM PST reply actions

Yes of course.

I mean.. I don’t think it can get worse than what we have been seeing in the second half

by Kenneth256 on Nov 27, 2010 9:34 PM PST up reply actions

I believe that the Kings are better than they played in the 4th

but do you believe the Kings are better than giving up a 15 point lead in the 2nd half? I’d say that’s a highly probable situation. In no way was I comfortable at any point in the game.

by Webber's Ankle on Nov 27, 2010 9:39 PM PST up reply actions

Yes...

Every NBA team should play better at home in the 4th quarter. Eight turnovers, 3 for 21 shooting.

I don't think it's down to an individual coach

or about coaching individuals. I think it’s about instituting a successful team system, one that from your superstar down to the twelfth man know how to run and run well.

That requires a lot of work and patience, and sometimes a lot of time. Do I believe Westphal is the guy to construct a system for us? I’m not sure he is. I don’t see what system we play 15 months into his tenure.

Are we running a Princeton offense? Hell no, not under Westphal. And I’m not sure if he’s replaced it with anything at all (hello 9pt 4th quarter).

This.

by elfboy_ on Nov 27, 2010 9:59 PM PST up reply actions

So if the Kings were running the Princeton (which I see every team doing technically)....

….would you be happy? This team isn’t running anything and that’s the problem. They don’t understand how they need to get into their sets.

look

worst coach in the league, worst starting pointguard in the league, (luther head). Tyrekes descion making is horrible. Donte went 1 on 4 twice, and tyreke tried to get fancy instead of making the simple pass. We need a point guard, or we wont win 15 more games the rest of the season. I’m a season ticket holder for 6 years, and I wont go to another game this year.

Tyreke is one of, if not the worst shooting guard in the league, god damn I hope DMC improves, he is a terrible defensive player. Ohh well, I hate being so negative but we suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

he’s still solid with alot of potential, but teams know how to play him, and until he developes a midrange jump shot and makes better descions we will continue to struggle.

Tyreke is still a top 5 SGs in the league. He is in his first slump of his short career.

and I hear Rockets want another low post threat

We could trade Land—-

Shane Battier would be a perfect back-court fit alongside Tyreke.

Sucks that we stuck with Garcia and Beno for the next 3 years. I can’t stand either one. Beno plays no Defense and he still sees a lot of court time, way to set an example Coach. Garcia is an overrated defensive player, he gamble a lot and reaches in way too much.,
