Rondo had another ridiculous night…15 assists! He’s averaging 16.8 for the season. And yes, we’re talking like 5 games, but still. Freaking ridiculous.

He also had like 17 points to go with his 15 assists tonight. It’s unreal.
He also broke a record for most assists through the first four games of the season this year, with 67. I believe they said John Stockton and Magic Johnson each had 64 (or 65) as their best.

Precisely. We’re really not a bad team, and we show it at times like this. We’re young, yes, and we make mistakes, but after the first five games of this season, I feel confident in the ninth or tenth seed. It’s even possible that we’ll make the eighth seed, though I think that’s probably going to be too large of a hill to climb.

Otherwise good game, there were some things I didn’t like (Cousins shooting forced threes, not having to come back every game) but I was proud of the effort.

Great game from Cisco, Carl, Beno and Reke – and Dalembert’s defense was awesome when we needed it. We need someone who can defend the three though.
Something that bugged me was that for eight or nine minutes, from the 3:00ish mark in the 2nd to about halfway through the third, Casspi didn’t get the ball except for on rebounds and inbounds passes. He was in the game the whole time, and on a few possessions was even wide open. No one was within 7-10 feet of him, and he still didn’t get the ball. Yes he shot 1-5 for the night, but he was 1-2 from the three, and every time he was open he was sitting on the 3-pt line waiting for someone to pass. With how he’s been shooting lately, I was surprised he didn’t even get to hold the ball for more than five seconds until halfway through the 3rd quarter.
