Miami showed why they can be so good

When just one of LBJ/Wade/Bosh are on, they’re hard to beat. When all three are on? Impossible. Loved the effort from the team though, especially in the first half.

When the Kings slipped just a bit it went downhill fast.

And when they started so poorly in that 3rd, it was the ballgame. Frustrating but it happens.

I'm not upset at all.

If this effort carries over into the road trip next week, we have a solid chance of grabbing a win or two.

I'm not holding my breathe.

All I’ve learned is that this young team has potential and is a very long way from realizing it to the fullest.

The first half had a lot of promise, then the Kings stopped playing the same kind of intense defense.

Hard to keep that up

For 48 minutes. Plus the heat came out of halftime on fire.

Do you have to call a doctor after that long? I guess a burning sensation warrants a call as well...

Seriously though, it really was the Heat having a bad first quarter and having to adjust. I don’t think they took the Kings seriously that first quarter and had to get their heads set right.

Personally, I really didn't think Pooh played that great until the 4th quarter

That 4th quarter was definitely a Poohfest

I agree.

Pooh has to become more consistent. But I like what the effect of Pooh generally is.

It was hard for Pooh to get out and do what he does best in the fastbreak

with Miami not missing anything and not having to hurry back on defense.

Miami is so much better when they are firing on all cylinders and feeling good.

That’s what happened tonight. Maybe the game in Miami after the AS break will help the Kings because they won’t be as burdened by the AS break like the Heat will.

Still don't think they get in the Finals

I think it’ll be Boston again. And unless Los Angeles picks it up, they’re not going to get pass San Antonio or Dallas. Still plenty of time for them though.

But I think they’d need to make a move first to get someone else who can be consistent for them.

I’m not even sure what to say about Vince Carter. He’s looking like he’s done in some ways. Or he’s just lost his mojo or something.

That's not a bad thing.

This team needs to learn how to play hard. It needs to learn to play everybody with the same effort and intensity for 48 minutes. Regardless of schedule.

To some fans I suppose

For example, there are fans that think that this team just plain sucks. Now, these fans are certainly entitled to their opinion. But a fan like me, that is at least enjoying the process of watching these young players mature, is going to disagree with those fans. And quite frankly, I’m going to feel sorry for fans and wonder why they even bother to watch if they cannot draw any positives from it.

And I tried to be reasonable. But apparently you will not be happy until you are banned. So I will oblige you at this time. You may appeal to Ziller.

For the rest that are on line right now, my warning stands. Any piling on here and you will be banned as well.

God, it's like a funeral in here.

Y’all want a bright spot? I’ve got one for you. How about 4 turnovers for the entire game? The Heat had 14.

We had 11 turnovers

4 blocks, though.

Casspi was certainly a bright spot – 20 points, including 5-7 from 3…the rest of the team was 1-11 from behind the arc. Jason Thompson was the only Kings player that shot a free throw without missing at least one (3-3). 11 boards and 3 blocks for Dalembert in 26 minutes, but an offensive train wreck.

Went to the game

Loved the effort by the Kings in the first, kind of an elementary conclusion that solid teams turn things on in the 2nd half and don’t look back.

Either way, it was a fun game to attend live to hear the cheers and jeers of Lebron, the unconsciousness of Dwayne Wade, and the interestingness of Erick Dampier at center (the only reason the Miami Heat won’t win a championship).

I hung around after the game and had the most amazing encounter with Bill Walton. Stand up guy all the way around. Can’t believe how awesome he is.

Oh, and that second half was painful.

Checked the box score, since I didn't get to watch the game

Yeah, the big three appear to be pretty good players (understatement). Otherwise, the stat that jumped out to me was Top Hat taking the bagel in the rebounding column again (sigh).

Im loving how the kings are playing right now

Although the record doesnt say it, we are playing with much much more effort than we did during the losing streak. This shows we have a lot of potential. Just need to “channel” that greatness haha.

kings need some offense.

kings played some defense. they actually got steals, blocked shots and contested shots. kings defense looks good to me. the offense is bad though. kings have no real point guard and thats bad. there best shooter IMO is casspi and he doesn’t even start. cousins needs to to start putting up 20/10 more often. evans, cousins and casspi need to be the 3 top scoreres on the team.
