STARTING LINEUPS & INJURIES
The Kings' starting lineup, as has been discussed, will be Beno Udrih, Tyreke Evans, Francisco Garcia, Carl Landry and Samuel Dalembert. We'll see how Paul Westphal assigns his players to defend, but Evans is really a small forward in this unit. Jason Thompson is back!
The Clippers have Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Ryan Gomes, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. Chris Kaman and Brian Cook are out. Craig Smith, too.
SCOUTING REPORT

The Clippers have won four of five. "How?" you ask. "With offense!" I reply.
L.A. The Lesser had great offensive performances against the Pistons, Bulls, Wolves and Suns during this stretch. A good portion of that is the incredible, indelible Blake Griffin, of course, but don't sleep on Eric Gordon (23 ppg and 4.5 assists in the Clips' last 10 games). As Kings fans we don't sleep on Gordon, because he's killed us a few times already. But the national media tends to ignore Gordon. They should not! He's delightful and deadly. In that order, except on the fourth Monday of every month, in which he is deadly and delightful. In that order.

Carl Landry vs. Blake Griffin. The rims at ARCO ain't going to want to get out of bed in the morning.
PLAYER TO WATCH
The funny thing about DeMarcus Cousins in Thursday's game against the Bucks -- he was the model of professionalism on the court. No frowns, no pulling out his mouthpiece in disbelief, no claps, no choke signs, no crotch chops, no "Tell me how my ass tastes!" call-outs, no fake fart noises during free throws, no audible belching during huddles. He was Ray Allen if Ray Allen was more like Mother Teresa.
Then he blows up on Paul Westphal in the non-televised event of the milennium? I've talked to a couple folks who witnessed the occasion. NOT. GOOD. How not good? So not good I can't even details on what actually happened! Area-51 bad!
So will he play? If he doesn't, Paul Westphal could be pressed into being forced to describe what happened, something the franchise does not appear keen to do. If he does, well ... if DMC plays and the Event was as bad as folks are making it out to be, we'll know what Cousins thinks of his role vis a vis Westphal. AKA "Gotcha by the berries, coach!"

What is this horrible thing that is rumored to have happened between PW and DMC?
The Jones and Amick articles just say (unless I’m missing something) that DMC refused to high five PW and PW had words with him.
Doesn’t quite seem fair to PW to withhold the details while suggesting that if DMC plays it will mean PW is an utter failure as a coach and leader and has completely lost the team.

Thompson in uniform but....
He’s only playing in an emergency situation. He still has his stitches in and he needs a little more time. Luther Head is ill and not with the team. Jermaine Taylor might see some action.

The Time is Now
The Kings kingdom has been rocked in which every way today not just within the organization and in the cyber world like StR.
It is time for the Kings to show us that these guys are professionals with lots of pride and play their behinds off and get a win. I don’t care how bad it looks tonight.
Nothing cures ails in professional sports better than getting wins and getting a win over the Clippers would be a nice start. It’s time for everyone to shut up and get take of business.
