A lot of those comments were about Kings being the third team in a Yao deal, recieving players from a team wanting Yao's contract.
That move is still in play.

I'm also wondering when todays TZ vs Peaches debate starts?
I prefer the debates on Twitter, it makes it so Peaches can’t just out scream and/or hang up on the person he’s talking to

According to Jones
The Kings are looking for a star. No mention of the CBA. Shall we debate that now?

That's encouraging
An established Star level player would do a lot for the whole roster – once they got over it.

I'd love to know what position, if any, they're focused on.

A good distraction from complaining about the team's problems.
And, I suspect that’s why Mr Ziller kinda did it.

Id be willing to give Houston
a washing machine & a pack of Mentos for Yao’s contract. Anything more would be overboard.

I wouldn't mind
Giving up Beno or Cisco, along with Dali to get Yao and Lee….
Great, then when Tyreke has his procedure, Pooh gets to play 48 mpg. I like it.

Dunno.
The article reads to me as though the Kings are 100% not willing to give up Cousins as part of a trade, which is a relief. It doesn’t make it sound like anyone has put their foot down in regard to Dalembert, though. The way it’s written doesn’t make it sound like the concept of acquiring Yao under certain circumstances has been dismissed out of hand.
Could be the writing, could be the questions asked or not asked, or

Completely off topic,
while I really did like the idea of a PBJ as a potential replacement coach, here’s another interesting possibility that seems just as likely. From a chat the other day:
dan (snowy syracuse)
Coach Thorpe – If you were forced to pick one NBA team (solely based on the roster) that you had to coach for the remainder of season, who would it be and why?
David Thorpe (12:30 PM)
Tough question. Miami would be fin because that team is built organically on love and unselfishness. But I’d lean to the Kings or Cavs, two awful teams that would be fun to salvage the season. But I have no interest in doing this, just to be clear.
Anybody catch Beasley's 30-9-7 the other night?
And he hasn’t been anything but optimistic and positive since being in Sota.
