The Chicago game was amazing, ayoung hispanic immigrant took the team on his narrow shoulders and willed the team to win
I think this one the Kings won

It's a joy to watch the players reactions
Donte- Knows it good!, Jumps on the table with Reke
Casspi- Flaling his arms in the air
Demarcus- Bopping around like a rodeo Bull
Dalembert- Hands in the air and a golf clap..
These boys needed this

Yeah, I thought Casspi looked a bit unsure of how to celebrate a win.
It was kind of adorable.

Westphal/Cousins beef?
He sure went to him in the clutch! You know DeMarcus was letting coach know he wanted the ball 2. DeMarcus looked agitated because he wasn’t getting the ball on previous possessions, leading up to the play out of the timeout when Westphal called his number.
by Gold Miner 916 on Dec 29, 2010 10:25 PM PST up reply actions 5 recs
Love the fact how coach went to Boogie when he knew he wanted the ball. Cousins looked as if he knew Randolph couldn’t guard him. Love the play! And Love how DeMarcus AND Tyreke come up big down the stretch! It’s ironic how peaches and Jerry were talking about how the two of them are the future and how their games need to mesh. Hopefully this game was a sign of many AMAZING things to come.

Finally the Kings do not accept defeat
"People are on to us right now. They're got our number. We have to regroup and start doing something a little more different. I'm not saying we're predictable, but when you've got the opponent out there calling out plays, and they know what's coming, then we've got a problem. They know what plays we're calling. They pretty much know what routes we're running. They pretty much have us down right now." -

Thankfully I closed on Sunday so I didn’t go in til like 5 or 6 or something and OMG. Haha. So, so great. But can you believe he was snubbed for the Pro Bowl? What the fuck is up with that?? I’m convinced that no single player is as important to his team as Aaron, because GB pretty much has no running game at the moment. If they can’t get it done by throwing, they can’t win it. So that’s kinda BS. But yes, fucking awesome game. I’ll congratulate him next time I see him :-P

Haha I've had work and friends visiting!
People coming up from SD and out from Florida and back from DC and whatnot for Christmas. So that, combined with work, has resulted in a semi prolonged absence.
Sadly, my friends have pretty much all left (I mean those who go to school elsewhere…haha. My friends from school here are mostly outta town visiting their families so that’s kinda dumb but whatever) but thankfully my shifts at work are pretty decent for the next week and a half so I should be able to watch more games :)

Outstanding. I just took a couple of quick vodka shots and it was disgusting. I prefer mixed drinks but currently have no appropriate mixers (somehow powdered hot chocolate mix and vodka doesn’t sound appealing to me). Thus, shots will have to do.

"For five decades (and counting), these fans have been blessed with West, Baylor, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Shaq and Kobe. Seven of the 15 best players ever. At some point, the gravy train will end. The Lakers will bottom out like the Knicks did last decade, submarined by bad moves, poor signings and unlucky drafts. Their fans will flee in droves. Jack will pass away. The buzz will be gone. That's how the NBA works -- in a 30-team league, you can't always get lucky, not even if you're a big-market team with deep pockets. I don't know if that day is three years off or 30, but it's coming." Bill Simmons

Also, side note…I’ve noticed on other SB Nation sites that the comments go green with like 2 or 3 rec’s. Does each site just have a choice or something? Just curious.

Yes this is a site by site choice.
TZ has chosen that for all fanposts, fanshots to be recommended, and for comments to go green, you have to have 5 Rec’s.

You have to earn a green comment on StR. Not so on other sites. Course, these aren’t fully earned, but whatever.

Some sites make you have more rec's.
Blazers Edge I think is like that with their fanposts cuz they have so many. Like I said, it’s a site by site basis. The highest, usually, for any site is usually 5. Most sites it’s 3.
