Great bench play tonight. Kings needed that badly.

Great point

The bench wasn’t stepping up in past games and put is in a hole sometimes. Good to see everyone playing a good game

I'm even glad to see Sergio doing well.

He can do a lot of things for this team

Just gotta give him some minutes and keep him on a short leash. There’s games when his change of pace and passes can really help others. I think he’s one of the few players that can actually help other players get themselves going. We need that with a young team

The future begins now...

by edm7 on Feb 1, 2010 7:22 PM PST up reply actions

Yeah but it comes at the expense of other things too.

The thing is that tonight the Kings don’t have Tyreke and PW has nothing to lose by playing Sergio.

That's true

That’s why you keep him in a short leash. The turnovers can hurt, but the assist help. Just gotta have the right balance, and the right amount of minutes.

Walking the ball up the court, trying to run the shot clock like a 15-point lead is going to hold up for a quarter and a half. If they keep playing like this the Nuggets will get back into the game quickly.
