League sources say the Sacramento Kings also have discussed a package that would include sending Kevin Martin to the Suns for [Amare] Stoudemire.

At this point
I’m kinda for this if I know Amare’s going to stay. The fact that he probably won’t worries me. I think playing for a young team where he’ll get a lot of touches could do wonders for him. Plus I have a soft spot for super talented, under achieving big men with attitude and knee problems.

There was a time when I really coveted Stoudemire.
Talent far beyond any big man we’ve had since young Webber, but the guy just seems like a mercenary.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
I mean really?
Wojo, you’re ruining your reputation for me as a reputable source. Martin’s NOT getting traded, period.
My interpretation of Woj
I am saying that as the Kings are looking to be in for a possible #1 spot in the upcoming draft that the Sacramento Kings trade Tyreke Evans. It is just so obvious to those who know that Tyreke Evans and John Wall cannot co-exist. As Tyreke is a known product and commonly known to be the current Rookie of the Year!!! HIS VALUE WILL NEVER BE HIGHER. I don’t think in the box and you shoudnt too.
There is no way that LeBron James will come to Sacratomato Town. But what about another markee free agent – Dwayne Wade #3 of the << HEAT>>. The guy can play defense he can score and he was an OLYMPIAM! His new Fave FIVE can be the Sacramenot KINGS!! I bet you that when DWADE comes to town he can convince The BOSH Man to come too.
The Pendants will be flying – WADE WALL BOSH spells N BA CHAMPIONS. GO KINGS!!!!! GO!!
obviously I find myself much more amusing than anyone else
or worse, you all thought I was serious

Just throw in a picture of a chick with big boobs at the bottom of the comment. That’ll get it more attention.

Stoudamire on the Heat
makes a fair amount of sense to me, especially given the assets they’re talking about throwing around.
Plus the Heat can be pretty sure he'll sign an extension
since they’re located in Miami and all

It's a good idea to acquire him, and then trade him for what we want.
So many other suitors out there are desperate for him. He could turn a pretty return
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
Well then I just have to ask...
Why don’t the customers just take the specifications directly to the software engineers?

Funny
OriginalBallboy broke this a few days ago and everyone slammed him for spreading rumors without being able to name his source. Woj names no sources, but it’s accepted. Just saying, even if this deal doesn’t go down, a few folks might want to head over here to eat their crow…
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
Woj is a source
of pure douche baggery

Woj is a media douche.
So, no I ain’t apologizing for what I said. But I didn’t mock fun of OB either.

Woj's source is the same as OB's
And he’s given limited space to write. Writing out “My father’s best friend’s uncle who knows a guy that’s married to a woman who gets her hair done by the mother of the guy that grooms Geoff Petrie’s dogs said…” is just a little too wordy

How has no one included Kevin Bacon in their sources yet?

Hes been given a title
And people respect titles. Ask Peaches. A casual passer-by named OriginalBallboy has none.
None of it is unexpected. StR is not immune to reactions of basic human nature. Nor was it StR as a whole. It would simply seem asinine for one to waste their text illegitimatizing said “rumors” when it’s already quite obvious He-said-she-said rumors do enough of that on their own. It’s not like the concept of “face value” escapes anyone here. Not unlike our favorite peachey friend, hearing/reading ones own words often has it’s own intrinsic/personal value.
I’m done stroking my own ego now.
Bé foréwarnéd: I am a mémbér of StR Groupthink méntality.
Was it as good for you as it was for me?

Absolutely
This one is going in the highlight reel.

Over rated big man
cant rebound, no defense, NO THANK YOU!
Tommy Kelly's ass won us that game against Denver!
Oh, Amare can rebound alright...
he just doesn’t seem to want to all that much.
With his size, length, athleticism and quickness Amare Stoudemire should be a beast on the boards. I guess he’s got other fish to fry…
"When the going gets Weird, the Weird turn professional."
(Hunter Thompson)
That's basically what I was implying, Robby.
If we want a veteran big man on the Kings who can show the younger players what it means to compete all-out, how to defend the basket, fight for every rebound, and play unselfishly, Amare would not be our best bet.

While a package with Kevin is fair value for Amar'e
I just don’t want that guy. No effort on the boards, no effort on the defense
"Children want what they want when they want it." ... Andy Sims
Ohhh, and he would want to get close to a max extension
Not worth it
"Children want what they want when they want it." ... Andy Sims
Agree
And factor in the “We ain’t goin’ nowhere this year anyway.” situation, it just doesn’t make any sense. He would be better suited to a team that needed a missing piece. Well I guess Kevin would too, but we need something that will last.

And something that gets missed in the Kevin Martin discussion
is mileage. Kevin some years older than our young guys, but in terms of games played, because of injuries and the team not making the postseason, he should be able to keep playing at a high level for a while.
At 27 years he’s only played 328 games. Compare that to a 25 Al Jefferson with 381 games, or a 26 Andre Iguodala with 455 games, or a 26 Ben Gordon with 429.
"Children want what they want when they want it." ... Andy Sims
Or 26 year old Amare Stoudmire with 486 games on him
"Children want what they want when they want it." ... Andy Sims
Amar'e is 27
and will turn 28 very early next season.

And plays defense like he's 6.

But Amare is a winner.
That’s what matters.
