I really like Curry
but somewhere you have to factor in the defensive gap, and the matchup gap. Evans makes opposing coaches remove players from the game, Also, I am confident that when defensive coaches go over schemes to stop the Kings, Evans is foremost in their minds, I doubt the same is true of Curry,
There are some guys smarter than me, some guys better looking, I take comfort in the fact that there is no guy that is both.

You know what I really love, I really love the Lacoste Sport Sweat suit man. The one that looks like the orange that's the same color as fruit loop orange! Houses like clovers, houses like clovers whatever that man says! Twinkle, Stars, Diamonds, Emeralds. We got every color bruh! It's fu@#in crazy man. This fool walked up to me the other day, and was like blood, where did you get them at yo? What, you made them? I said, man we don't make nothin man! We don't make nothin man. We just make your girl give h%@d. When she sees these on sight. She never thought they come in size twelves man. I wear size twelves man!
Interesting.
This article makes Curry sound better. Although, it didn’t really touch on defense, which Tyreke has the edge by far.

Basically all I got out of this article is...
Curry’s assists are better than Evans’. Since Curry hits more jumpers and is used less than Evans, he’s more efficient.
I agree with much of this
I think that Curry has a real chance to overtake Jennings statistically. However, the fact that Curry is running neck and neck with Evans statistically over the past 40+ days means that he will be unable to close the statistical gap that was forged in the first two months of the season. Also, I expect that Jennings will carry a lot of the east coast vote, at least when it comes to 2nd place votes.
Curry is playing at a current level that deservedly brings him into a conversation regarding which rookie is playing the best ball today. But for body of work over the course of the entire season, it’s Evans, and it’s not close.

the East Coast bias is an awful thing
thank goodness Evans won the Rookie-Soph MVP, it unfortunately, might mean something.
I read this from Basketball Prospectus and Doolittle should be renamed thinkLittle as he calls Jennings the front runner. Just aggravating. Does the accolade really matter? No, it is performance on the court and wins. But Evans is deserving and “basketball justice” should be served.

I like that Petrie was mentioned for exec of the year but
could you imagine if he had not traded away our 31st for 38th & Sergio & drafted Blair? He would be our starting PF right now & would be tearing people up. I understand why we did it at the time(beno’s fault).

What happens if Blair improves our record this year and next
and we miss out on a strong batch of bigs in the draft this year, and then Blair’s knees blow out in two years? We just don’t know about the knees. I wish him well though. I’m happy with what we got.

Ironically
I think it worked out perfectly for Blair and San Antonio. They complement each other so well. He’s a youngster that’ll come in and bang and work his ass off. Even if his knees limit his career he may still finish with a ring or two.

Not sure Blair makes us that much better in wins & losses
just more fun to watch. Come on you’re going to tell me you wouldn’t draft Blair over Brockman in hindsight? I am happy with what we got too, don’t get me wrong. I just can’t deny that Blair would look awesome in a Kings jersey. Coulda, woulda, shouldas are what most of us do all day here anyways. I’ll tell you this I’d rather have Dejaun Blair helping/not helping us win more games then Troy Murphy.

Seems
an awful lot of manipulation of stats to prove favorable for Curry, just to get him in the conversation WITH Tyreke. Factor in defense and it’s not even close. Tyreke Evans is definitely the best rookie in this class and will win the rookie of the year award barring some crazy meltdown or injury. Both seem unlikely.
This article is interesting, but the season isn't over yet.
Perhaps Tyreke will benefit from Kevin’s resurgence and an increasingly better jump shot.
I do think he get’s a little one-track-minded when he gets to the rim. But at this point, I would rather he keep the ball than dishing to JT or Spencer so they can lazily lay it up. If Jason can dunk like he did off that pass at the end of the Knicks game then Evans’ assists at the rim should increase/
