How on God's green earth
is Larry Hughes earning almost 14 mil this season? What team originally signed him to that wonderful contract?
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
Wow
I have no recollection of him ever playing well enough to justify that contract.

I'm gonna stick with ShamSports.

To each his own
Personally, I like Sham Sports too. I just want the people to have options and the choice to choose. Cause this is America.
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
I'm stick with Sham
because he’s 1 guy who has put so much work into his website and is remarkably accurate, and along comes hoopdata to basically steal his info (they do credit him at the bottom).

Which would irritate me (and I know it does him)
Plus Hoopsdata has some things wrong.

I'm not sure Donald Sterling is a human being. He had to have been manufactured by someone, possibly David Stern, so that one team could solely just make profit for the NBA while doing nothing good for themselves. -- Aykis 16
Oh wow. I did not see that credit at the bottom. How…interesting.
They certainly didn’t ask for any information, that much is certain.

Hey, they can do what they like. They haven’t done anything wrong, legally or ethically. It’s just really annoying to see someone better than you do the one thing you had over them. Be it this, the ESPN trade machine or the SI Leaked Report, someone always steals the salary thunder at some point. The little guys like me and Storyteller have to depend upon consistency, unwavering accuracy and work ethic.

Well, we love you, babe
And at the end of the day, isn’t that all that matters…our love?

You're a snazzy dresser,
a helluva dancer, you pick up the check more often than not, you’re both a summer and winter, and you make the most interesting man in the world look dull by comparison.

You were wrong about the check thing just now. But I admire your brevity.

When are we bringing Dejan Bodiroga over?
that’s what I want to know
LOL
According to his wikipedia page, he retired in 2007. So…he should have fresh legs.
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
We should have tried to play him in the NBA
He’s a legend in european basketball and has always been a heck of a player

Go Kings!
A legend in European basketball doesn't necessarily mean much
Exhibit, umm, A: Mike D’Antoni

Thanks for this link to the salary data.
To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.
Hoopsdata has some things wrong
There is no way the Kings would have had cap room with the cap holds of Corliss and various players on the cap. Also, Rashad McCants lost his cap hold when he signed in Houston for whatever contract he got from them. They got some fine tuning work to do.

McCants never signed with Houston.

Then explain to me how is it the Kings had cap room?
You’re the salary guru after all.

And I realize that McCants QO was not offered
which was why he was unrestricted. So, that was my fault. (I was actually curious at an explanation though.)

Yeah I get that part.
Have you seen any place that credited them with doing that? I’ve looked on Basketball Archives and haven’t seen it. That’s why I ask. I was under the impression they forgo’d cap room because they felt they could use the 125% + 100K rule to their advantage. But, apparently I was wrong.

No transactions places other than me (and RealGM circa 4 years ago) seems to lists renouncements for the most part, as they are generally not publically announced. And as for why I didn’t list these ones……I forgot.

Clearly I'm going to have to make your transactions list a daily trek during the summertime Mark.
Thanks for all the great work you do.
