...a leaguemate and I were discussing Sacramento's utter lack of player development for the past two years, especially the bigs. The only player who showed marked gains is Kevin Martin and that's mostly via his offseason work with David Thorpe. Thompson, Spencer Hawes and Sean May have all regressed instead of stepping forward this year.

The only thing about Sean May that really regressed was his weight

He’s never played that well to begin with.

I do agree about Spencer and JT though

Mmm hmmm

I think a lot of this recent frustration, as others have mention already, is maybe Spencer and JT just aren’t that good. Maybe they were bad draft picks? The more I watch other teams with no name players and notice their no name players are dominating ours it probably just means they lack something. I will go out on a limb and say that Spencer may lack work ethic and JT unfortunately appears to lack skill, especially with footwork and patience.

On a fantasy note, I was lucky enough to grab Tyreke off waivers after the draft. That has worked out so far and I am 10 points clear in my roto league. I experimented with other Kings players from JT to Noce and none of them worked out.

Somebody put Reke on waivers in your league? Talk about not knowing the game statistically......

I'm not sure Donald Sterling is a human being. He had to have been manufactured by someone, possibly David Stern, so that one team could solely just make profit for the NBA while doing nothing good for themselves. -- Aykis 16

I may have mis-stated what went down

I mean to say that he wasn’t drafted at all. I picked him up after the draft and he was just sitting there in the player pool along with Jennings, Collison and Curry who are all on teams. This was my first stint at fantasy basketball and I kind of went BPA via the ESPN rankings in the draft. After the first week I had the team all built up to the current butt kicking state.

It sucks, but I agree 100%

The lack of improvement of our players is very disheartening. I feel like we always have players with a ton of potential, but they don’t seem to developas far as they should. Martin being the exception that proves the rule.

Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

this is when you need to hire

another assistant, the way Patrick Ewing is D. Howards mentor in Orlanda. We have Truck and Reef, who have improved our players rebounding somewhat, but i have a feeling we need something more.
