Nice

You know what I really love, I really love the Lacoste Sport Sweat suit man. The one that looks like the orange that's the same color as fruit loop orange! Houses like clovers, houses like clovers whatever that man says! Twinkle, Stars, Diamonds, Emeralds. We got every color bruh! It's fu@#in crazy man. This fool walked up to me the other day, and was like blood, where did you get them at yo? What, you made them? I said, man we don't make nothin man! We don't make nothin man. We just make your girl give h%@d. When she sees these on sight. She never thought they come in size twelves man. I wear size twelves man!

Spencer and Westphal both admitted that it was scripted by PW.

Westy needs to get more height in his chest bump, if he wants to keep up his street cred.

Not bad for a near-60 year old

And glad these guys have worked things out for the time being.

Nice to see them lighten up and have some fun!

To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.

Funny as hell

In a wierd way It makes me believe PW actually likes Spencer. If he didn’t he would probably just let him rought on the bench. He probably sees a lot of immaturity in him so he disciplines him like a child.

I love beating dead horses.

Awesome way to clear the air

I honestly think Westphal might have overreacted a bit because of his wife’s illness and the timing. But this was funny and classy at the same time I think. You can tell there isn’t really any real animosity between them.

I don't see it as animosity

more like Daddy discipline on the “you should know better” son. Spencer strikes me as a bit of a “I know everything” college kid and needs a stare in the eye every now and then. Sometimes it seems that you look at Spencer and you see all of that potential and he can’t seem to get his mind out of the way to reach the heights he is capable of.

Then again, I may be projecting.(I have a son that turns 21 next month)

I don't think you're projecting at all.

I think you hit the nail on the head. (I have a 28 yr. old. Been there, done that.)

Classy

I can’t say how much that means to a young player, and a team. Classy on all acounts.

Know your role

Spencer had been missing that chest bump in practice for weeks. That benching was just what he needed.

Never forget: I am a complete idiot

Well,

Last week they (his actions) were not classy.

by MustangMBS on Feb 28, 2010 8:34 AM PST up reply actions

I did a 180

This is why I like the guy. He knows when enough is enough and bury the hatchet. Professional and classy to the highest. He is who I though he is, only took a situation like this to prove it. I lost my head, but would like to pull a PW and bury the hatchet. This is something we would never have seen from egotistical/immature/pretty boy Theus.
