Other Teams
Dallas, Atlanta, and LA
Dallas- Nowitzki, kenny smith, becky hammond
Atlanta- Joe Johnson, Steve Smith, and Angel McCoughtry
LA- Paul Gasol, Marie Ferdinand-Harris, and Brent F’n Barry
Normally this event ranks somewhere between the celebrity all-star game on the low end and staring at a wall, but with reke going I think I have to tune in now. Have to love how to got all the major media markets on this one. LA, Atlanta, Dallas, and…..Sacramento.

I AM IN LOVE WITH BECKY HAMMOND!
Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance. Vonnegut
Should have been Kevin in a shooting contest
but they need to market the new wave . . .
So imitate the action of the tiger!.

Don't have Webber shoot the free throw!
"Sometimes the capriciousness of youth anesthetizes common sense." -Let Geoff's words guide our patience this season.
Great
Of all the shooters on the team, they had to choose evans…ah well, mabye he’ll think he is playing San Antonio with 2 minutes left
Phil Jackson, after treatment for a kidney stone "When the anesthesiologist leaned over me, he said "We named your kidney stone Kobe because it's not passing."
My thoughts, exactly. But, it is an honor for Reke and very apropos to compete with Webber.
To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.
Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that's both wrong and irrelevant

Hmm....He had his number retired here. I think he's fine with Sac.

Yep
and he always gives big love to Sacramento on TNT. Through the good and bad, Sactown will be C-Webb’s town and he will always be remembered as a King.

Awkward, this will be.
NBA Representative: Hi, Nicole. We were thinking of having you represent your team in the 2010 Shooting Stars event.
Nicole Powell: Sure thing! I’m just finishing up practice. You want me to pack my white/sea-green home jersey or my blue away jersey?
NBA: Um actually…
Powell: Yes?
NBA: Do you still have your Monarchs jersey?
Powell: (silence)
NBA: Yeah, well, um, we thought it’d be kinda cool for you to represent Sacramento.
Powell: I hate you.
NBA: Anyway, Tyreke looks like he’s going to be rookie of the year so we need to have him more involved in the All-Star Weekend. The Rookie Challenge was a lock, but we didn’t expect the Kings to do so badly in December and January. We were going to fix the game so he could be voted as a reserve on the All-Start team, but…yeah.
Powell: I still hate you.
NBA: Look, all we need you to do is show up in your Monarchs jersey, shoot the ball, and take awkward photographs with Kings players.
Powell: (silence)
NBA: Oh yeah, and Chris Webber’s going to be the old-guy-who-now-works-for-TNT on your team.
Powell: That’s supposed to make it better?
NBA: Great! I knew you’d do it! Now make sure you show up early, or else.
Powell: Or else WHAT?!?
NBA: (CLICK)

I'm so sick of the bias against Chapu.

Exactly
“Shooting Stars” seems right up his alley.

Actually it does
The premise is to give the player the ball on random spaces throughout the court and tell them to shoot. This seems right up his alley for some reason

i would love noce at an event like this
could you imagine the intensity he would bring? It would be like watching Brian McNight at a celebrity basketball game.
Could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?
Come on Chapu
they have to make it fair for other teams
Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!

Yippee Skippeeeeeeeeee.
UNLESS that underground cavern was a David Thorpe run training facility. The problem of course, is that players really need to play in NBA game situations for them to develop well. So a league of cyborgs needs to be built along with a regulation-sized stadium and tons of fake fans to simulate real NBA games to develop the players. Though at this point the team is spending billions of dollars to develop those players, so you know… maybe it would be smarter to just wait. -- Iashwash
Any love for Reke is good love
the more recognition he gets the more refs will give him the benefit of the doubt when he flops around without getting touched when he knows the shot was bad when it left his hands. As much as I hate it when Kobe gets that call refs riding star balls isn’t going anywhere so might as well get ours.
I love beating dead horses.
Hey kingsfan in AZ
What part are you from? I’m down here in Tucson
Remember folks, I'm almost always wrong.

My sister lives in Tucson-
nice place…at least, it was when I visited in November and December. I’ll be staying away come summer time.
Was in Scottsdale
But the company I worked for closed its AZ office in March so I moved back to sacramento. It was a fun town, but it was nice to get back to northern california. I guess I need to change the sn now.
