The Suns will definitely let us back in the game!
We just have to play some D! Lets come back Kings

John Wall can be my baby's daddy
and I’m not even sure how the… uh… physics would work.

I'd still have drafted Jordan and traded him for an established big man.
It’s like I would have drafted Melo and trade him or Prince for a proven big man, instead of getting Darko.
There can only be one Noce!
I was being sarcastic
basically the same post as yours

That's not what I'm saying.
You still draft Wall, it’s just on this team I wouldn’t be too excited too have him. Much rather have it been a great big available atop the draft, not Wall, is all.
Well, yeah
but you can’t have a player of Kwame Brown’s talent every year.

Hmm. I'm not so sure Kwame would be a downgrade in the front court for this team.
Was Kwame even considered elite talent or did Jordan just push for him that badly?
portland already had a good SF
(martell webster) brandon at the 2 and lma as a weak outside big and portland needed a big C to clog the lane. The medical reports on oden came back clean (mri’s,xrays ect) durant was an easy non factor looking at it as a team
When half of the league would of done the same its easy to clown on portland/ The thing is if portland had 2nd who do you think the sonics would of picked? a lanky SF that is decent at d or a widley needed big (mind you sonic’s didnt have crap for the big men……((nick collison?? really?))
by These Refs Suck on Feb 5, 2010 8:37 PM PST up reply actions
Gotta take Oden, every time
Oden was considered to be a near-guaranteed 20/10 player, Brook Lopez production with Stoudamire athleticism. If you’re picking between two players of “equal” talent, it’s better to go with the big because it’s harder to replace that production.

hit the nail on the head. Plus if portland has batum hands down a future artest-esk deffender

If Wall is available, you could draft him and trade
Kevin for a big

(waits for the all so anonying durant>oden post)
side note.. durant is on a crap team and truely wouldnt fit in as a third option

Uh, OKC
is 28-21. That’s .571 ball and are currently the 8th seed. Not really a crap team

what were they last year?
Oklahoma City 23 59
and year before
Oklahoma City 20 62
What would okc look like if durant were to sit a game out?….
by These Refs Suck on Feb 5, 2010 8:39 PM PST up reply actions
Oh and what was our record last year?
Besides, you said durant IS on a crap team. Thats present tense. You must be talking about this year’s OKC team.
There can only be one Noce!
honestly yes.
I do belive durant’s team is not that great at all crap if you will.
westbrook/green/durant/thabo are there best players that they have. The rest are meh…
Take durant or westbrook out of a game or three. they will drasticly lose. Teams dont need one player to make 30+ PPG when the team avg’s only 98.6 without that player whos going to carry the load for the rest of the team?
by These Refs Suck on Feb 5, 2010 8:43 PM PST up reply actions
I disagree.
OKC is not a crappy team. They’re not great but not crappy either. Green and westbrook are good players and while they m may not win as much with durant out, they are not going to be a D-league team all of the sudden.
Now, Cleveland…that ios a crappy team.
There can only be one Noce!
that is true about clv to a certain point.
okc in about 2-3 years will be able to be a decent first round playoff team. I see the kings getting into the playoffs more over the next few years then the thunder unless they make some serouis changes

I sure wouldn't mind having
24pts & 7 rebounds right about now. I’m sorry guys as much as I keep hearing about patience this downright blows. GP is like the most patient man on earth & also one of the best GM’s. I’m glad it’s not my job because we I would have traded the whole damn team. GP being the most patient man makes me the most sensitive man.
I love beating dead horses.
i feel ur pain
but i just cant resign myself to making quick decisions right now. we are seeing some of these young guys show real potential…blowing it up would maybe put us inthe playoffs, but contenders? i think not…im in the patience camp
26-28 is an NBA player's prime
who do we have that is there? Kevin and Beno. It’s going to be a few years for the young guys
