Martin: Trade Rumors Are Affecting Kings
Interesting. Maybe the rumors are affecting the chemistry instead of the players personalities?

This doesn't surprise me, especially given how young the team is.
I was thinking about it the other day, and even though everyone is aware that it’s a business, I would think that when you are with your first team, you are more likely to think of it as a family. When your name starts getting tossed around as a trade, I’ll bet it shakes your ass up a little bit, like the first time you get laid off or fired from a job. (It gets easier, trust me.)
I should think that hearing “fans” talk about you as having lost it, becoming worthless, or being expendable probably is a kick in the stomach, too.
I’m not saying everyone needs to shutup. These are grownups, and they make a lot of money. But this type of negativity having consequences on a young team doesn’t surprise me at all.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
It's one thing they'll have to learn how to tune out Sims.
UNLESS that underground cavern was a David Thorpe run training facility. The problem of course, is that players really need to play in NBA game situations for them to develop well. So a league of cyborgs needs to be built along with a regulation-sized stadium and tons of fake fans to simulate real NBA games to develop the players. Though at this point the team is spending billions of dollars to develop those players, so you know… maybe it would be smarter to just wait. -- Iashwash

Coach Paul and Coaches Elie, Robinson and Abdur-Rahim
are there to nurse the young’uns as well as Noce, May and Udoka. Losing hurts, trade talk and boos sting. Skin will thicken, pubic hairs will continue to grow.
This too shall pass.

without the phrase “public hairs” that whole argument would have fallen apart.
Could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?

As every bad phase always does.

Maybe this is why Kev isn't playing well?
Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance. Vonnegut
The freakin fans booed him
That was fowl. Fans can boo I know. But you’re talking about one of the classiest guys in the NBA. A guy who was a very low 1st round round draft pick from a small school who probably would have been a 2 round pick had GP not picked him. Through very hard work he made himself the most efficient scoring gaurd in the NBA & the face of this franchise & you can give him a little time to fit in with a whole different team from top to bottom. He is not an overpaid douche like Agent Zero cut him some slack. We could be the Wizards.
I love beating dead horses.

And how f*cking dare anyone out there make fun of Kevin Martin after all he’s been through. He loves this town, he’s gone threw a few losing seasons, his past coaches turned out to be terrible and now he’s going through trade rumors and questions about his toughness. All you people care about is readers and making money off of him! HE’S A HUMAN!
