I think you can go ahead and call Reke RoY night a smashing success. 19 points, 10 boards and 10 assists. Great win.

Did anyone else see Jason Thompson get an unassisted dunk?

That was explosive. He needs to do that all the time.

Only caught the 2nd half, but it was the half to watch I guess. Great, fun game.

I'm not being facetious

But that might have been JT’s first ever unassisted dunk and he earned it.

No mistakes in the tango, Donna. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

I'm not sure Donald Sterling is a human being. He had to have been manufactured by someone, possibly David Stern, so that one team could solely just make profit for the NBA while doing nothing good for themselves. -- Aykis 16

Tyreke is not good.

He’s ridiculously incredible. Hard to believe, but the Kings have a franchise player and future all-star. Seriously, Reke seems capable of being one of the NBA elite. It is a joy to watch him play, and he shall lead us to a championship. That, and a legit big, some shooters, and whatever chemistry necessary.

by amonk81 on Mar 11, 2010 12:07 AM PST reply actions

he always steps up his game for the occasion, and meets or exceeds expectations

(ok, he has previously failed in crunch time against some elite teams such as the Lakers and Cavs, but he’ll learn).
I can’t see him not winning a championship in his career. The kid’s a winner and we’re fortunate to have him.

Eh...

I’m not on the Bosh bandwagon, and I think he’s the kind of guy who will only play in a big name city, even if he doesn’t win… Plus even though he is good, he’s not worth a max contract, so picking him up I think would hurt more than it would gain. Maybe if he can stop these huge droughts he goes through he’ll be worth it in my mind, but he is just too unreliable

Why does Grant Napear STILL HAVE A JOB???

Someone who is consistently dominant

Such as LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, Nash , etc, etc, just because there aren’t many free agents THIS off season that deserve a max contract doesn’t mean you should pay someone max to fill the void. Don’t get me wrong, Bosh is worth alot, just not max. When he proves he can get his team to win and be consistent, then I think he deserves a max contract, he’s just not convincing me yet.

make you happy to be a Kings fan. All the young guy’s showed off all their potential in an ass kicking of a playoff team. The played together and Arco was rocking all night. Tyreke is the fuckn man and there is no way we won’t be a good team one day with him as our leader.

Isn't anyone going to talk about Beno?

I thought he was fantastic tonite, he kept the first quarter from being ugly. Did anyone else notice how close he and Tyreke are? Lots of chest bumps, talking a lot during time outs, free throws, on the bench. Along with Cisco, I love that three guard rotation.

by MichaelMack on Mar 11, 2010 12:56 AM PST reply actions

Yeah, Beno was spectacular. He’s been so consistently good this season, but often taken for granted.. probably has the highest b-ball IQ on the team and always puts the team’s success first. He’s right up there with Tyreke and Landry in importance. That’s our “Big 3” in my opinion.

by Mike11188 on Mar 11, 2010 3:04 AM PST up reply actions

I'll talk about Beno.

He was amazing last night! I noticed how close he and Tyreke are. I love that Beno really stepped it up for Tyreke and the team. It was Tyreke’s big night so, unfortunately Beno didn’t get a lot of props for his performance.
