For those of you who thought the Kings even had a chance of getting Bosh he and Jarret Jack threw that notion out the window. Very Classy... not really

Jack & ASS

Obviously Jarret Jack didn’t take geography or doesn’t know the capitals of his states, because how the hell would nobody know Sacramento is in California. For Bosh I understand you are being heckled, but if a fan has that much admiration for you then you should be classy and embrace it. That’s exactly why we shut him down and blew his team the hell out….

I like it..

He plays for another team, he’s supposed to hate the other teams…do you think he really should have replied like, “well, maybe…what’s there to do here?” In which, Jack’s response makes some sense.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m from Sacto but most people from the rest of the country have no idea what part of Cali it’s in or what there is there OTHER than the Sacramento Kings. That’s why it’s so important to keep them there.

Fuck both of them, we have Big/Hot Carl!

Landry did a good job on Bosh, The Kings don’t need him, and he’s too expensive!
Petrie needs to draft a big, and sign a shooter!

Big/Hot Carl debate?

If there is an on going debate, I’m voting for Hot Carl. In my most hilarious dreams, I imagine the day when Landry throws down a big dunk and Peaches states emphatically, “If you don’t like a Hot Carl, you don’t like NBA basketball!”

He could also be saying that because he's sitting next to his teammates in the middle of a playoff push.

I highly doubt he’s going to start causing controversy in the locker room by entertaining the idea of coming to Sacramento in the middle of a game while they’re one game ahead of the Bulls and tied with the Bobcats and Heat.

And Jarret Jack is a moron.

Fuk em'

Bosh says “hell no” to coming to Sac. I don’t think he is what the team needs anyways. I mean come on. Look at the team he has around him, and they struggle that bad? Hedo with Dwight = wins, Hedo with Bosh = borderline playoffs.

And Jack, you are a backup pg at most so keep your ignorant mouth shut. For a guy that has bounced around the league from team to team, and no one has liked him yet, he sure has alot to say.

I wish the two of them the worst for now on. I hope they have nothing but injury and losses for the rest of their careers.

are you kidding me?

The guys get heckled every night and they’re just giving a little back to the fans. As a fan (and heckler), I’m stoked when I get any reaction from the players. This wasn’t an interview or anything, they’re just running smack on the court.

get over it

on the real: it was classless for that fan to be asking that question during a game. it would have been a huge slight to his current team to even address that question in any other way. in fact it would have been a red flag (for kings) that he has no loyalty. Bosh and all other free agency issues will be addressed in the off-season. don’t get ya panties in bunch over something that is a non issue at this point in time. I been with the kings since the first season in Sac, and one irritating reoccurring theme is how sensitive we can be as fans. we got a good win last night; lets just enjoy it let it ride.

Exactly

Bosh has been pretty classy with FA coming up, hasn’t talked about it a lot, unlike LeBron, who is being a bit of a douche about it. If he had said yes, what would his teammates have thought?

While I agree there’s truth in things people says. Obviously Jarret Jack spoke what he feels that no one wants to play in Sacramento. Bosh may feel the same way which prompted his response. I understand the fan was annoying trust me I do, but seriously he’s a professional he didn’t have to say anything. In the end money talks if we throw him a 100 million dollar contract I doubt he’d be saying hell no. It’s not going to happen, but you see my point.

Rec'd gaindeyouth

Come on, folks. A player on the floor trading back and forth with a fan, and we’re going to get offended? What was Bosh supposed to say? And Jarrett is a Jack Ass – do we really want to take it personally when a guy says that he doesn’t know where the Capitol of California is?

lets develop and then spend

I agree with Slamson that for the money that Bosh will demand, we may not really need him. lets continue to develop our current bigs rotation and look at the draft (just watched Greg Monroe dismantle the orange…) . I’m liking JT and Landry. they bring a pretty potent 1, 2 punch.
one last thing: it was good to see JT go up strong and dunk it hard a couple of times last night -no finesse, jus a stuff. i think Landry may be rubbing off in a good way.

That thin-skinned are you? Really?

If we don’t make a legit offer to Bosh this summer, we’re idiots. Stop being such babies, it’s no wonder you get picked on by Shaq, you’re ridiculously easy targets.

sorry jar jack

nobody knows that Sacramento, the freaking capital, is in california. haha what a joke. funny coincidence, the articles says that he replied to it during the third qaurter, which happens to be the quarter in which the kings aboslutely trounced the raptors. bitter fruit ,my friend

and plus

after seeing chris bosh struggle against one of the worst defensive teams in the league, im not sure i want too see him in a kings uniform

by Harrisonyaka on Mar 11, 2010 5:33 PM PST reply actions

Come guys

Of course a loser like Jack is going to mouth off in the 3rd quarter. His team was getting ass-raped. I would be pissed too. As far as Bosh goes I would still love for him to be #2 next to Tyreke because that’s all Bosh will ever be on a championship team is #2 just like Gasol. Bosh better realize that or he will always be the best player on mediocre teams. So if you want to win Bosh you better come here or you can gravy train with Lebron or Wade & oh yeah, Joe Johnson will not cut it as your sidekick buddy.

I love beating dead horses.

Just a random thought

that your post reminded me of. I think it’s funny that everyone still sees Gasol as the #2 guy for the Lakers, even though without him they completely fall apart and without Kobe, they still win just fine. I don’t like Gasol or care anything about the Lakers, but I like to try to knock Kobe down a few pegs. I feel everyone believes he’s as good as his ego makes him out to be. P.S. Kobe – you still haven’t won a championship on your own, you still needed that big man down low to win anything… remember what a hot mess you guys were before acquiring Gasol?

Bosh = Overrated

Why does everyone want to bring Bosh to Sacramento so bad when there are many players that would be a better fit, be more aggressive and tough, and wouldn’t ruin the team chemistry. Sure Bosh puts up big numbers, but that has done absolutely nothing for the Raptors, they are still garbage. Plus I’ve always seen him as the kind of guy that would be a jerk, and would have an arrogant attitude that would ruin the team chemistry. When he learns to work to make his team win and the players around him better, then maybe he’ll be worth a max contract but to me, the only reason people are considering a max for him is because they’ll have money to waste when they can’t get LeBron or Wade. Personally I would like to see Boozer come over, especially for have been playing for Sloan, you know he is tough. Plus even though still expensive, we could probably get him for less than a max.

I would be ok with Boozer...

as long as the price is right. GP has a tendency to offer bigger contracts than players deserve (so thankful Bonzi said no!) and I don’t want to see that happen.

I like Camby too, but haven’t really looked at who else might be available.

I was thinking Camby as well

I mean he liked being on the Clippers! Imagine how awesome he would feel on the kings! But having him bring the post defense and boards and have Landry provide the post offense would be very nice. I also really like his attitude. There are so many more options that are so much better than Bosh I don’t even know why he is even being considered.

Wow, Bosh totally won

this shit talking contest. People are getting way to worked up over this and if I were him, I would be laughing.

That being said, I don’t buy into the idea that the location is paramount in signing a FA contract. Im sure it weighs in if its Sac vs. LA or NY, but Im guessing the dollars and skill of the team carry much more weight.

We can get any free agent we like, as long as we can offer more cash than the other teams involved. And no, I don’t think that throwing big money at a player will solve our issues.
