"That’s a real postman we can get the ball to – not taking anything away from JT or Spencer – but he’s a banger. He got his teeth knocked out and shot in the leg and still came back. Anytime you have a guy like that, you’re going to take advantage of it."

Not to take anything away from Kevin

But I think the guys have a real respect for Carl and probably in time will have real good chemistry.

We traded a player from a position where we had an abundance, to gain a player where we were starving.

Landry is going to be very good, and more importantly, good where we desperately need good.

There aren't many players right now

who are as good at Landry at scoring for a big man. He’s also not a bad man defender although his rebounding is a tad lacking. I hope we can lock him up for a while.

We have him for next season. Let's get to the off-season before we worry about who we keep and lose long term.

Please?

i agree with Peaches (for once)

He does score as well as Webber does down low, both very patient with the ball/head fakes, and finally split two defenders and end with the baby hook or right hand slam. Not as big as Chris or as good of a rebounder. But he’s solid.

Looking at his rebounding stats

And you’re right. His advanced rebounding stats are not all that great. His best DRB% was a 24.2% outing in his first year as a King, but for his first few years he didn’t break 18.5% and he hovered around 20% for his career. Spencer has had a better start in his career for rebounding. C-Webb was a good post defender before his injury though.

Damn you all..

I need to get on my 3 seconds in the key, or should I say overnight camping by certain Fakers today and yesteryear, along with Tim Duncan’s illigeal screens. But Pau is the most horrific at the illegal screen/moving pick. I can live with TD, because he is TD; but the star bigs in the league get away with illegal screens and 3 seconds almost as much as Kobe flails his arms.
Now I am getting all bent out of shape thinking about two of my beiggest pet peaves, combine that with no drinking for a week and I might have to go yeall at my children.

Carl's attitude matters just as much here.

I think Kevin was seen (right or not) as a sourpuss in the lockerroom. Once the Martin contingent gets that Martin wanted out, and that there is life after SpeedRacer, all you have to do is euthanize Sammy and I think StR will be all set.
