10 ways to tell you're rooting for a bad team
Wish these guidelines didn't apply to Kings fans, but they do. Hopefully the funny parts will dull the pain of reality.

Only the first 5 really apply to us
Although #3 really doesn’t either. The Cavs would take Evans and Hot Carl in a heartbeat

I'm not convinced they'd take Landry over Jamison
Which isn’t to say I don’t think highly of Landry. It’s just Jamison fits their system pretty well and is a good second option to LeBron (when he’s healthy).

I think that's beside the point olden
Tyreke doesn’t fit in really either. I think it’s more of a “who can start on a championship team” question. Using the Cavs or any specific team maybe doesn’t get that point across well enough. Tyreke & Landry can definitely start for a championship team with the right system & players around them.
I love beating dead horses.
Hot Carl is a great nickname. Kinda homo-erotic, kinda sounds like a pimp, very simple, fun to say.
Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance. Vonnegut
I haven't read it yet but
I hope most of us know we have a bad team anyways.
I love beating dead horses.
I think the Cavs are a bad example
This team IMO is the Championship caliber team with the most roll players. Aside from Lebron they are ALL roll players. Old Shaq=roll player, West, Boobie, Moon, Parker, Powe, Telfair, Verejao all roll players. Mo Williams is an all-star playing next to Lebron but I never even heard of him before the Cavs picked him up. Antawn Jamison is a former all-star but was brought to the Cavs to play a roll. That being said I will give them L6, Jamison, & Williams but everyone else are bench players on the Lakers. Actually Lamar Odom is a bench player on the Lakers & he is just as good if not better now than Jamison.
I think the Cavs would take Tyreke & Landry in a heartbeat. Beno is better offensively than West but West is a better defender. Cisco=West.
I understand the part about getting exited about JT last year but our excitement about Omri(not mentioned) is legit. Also we weren’t the only people excited about JT last season there were numerous “experts” who were just as suprised/excited about JT. Praising GP for thinking outside the box. JT might not ever be great but he came to a team who desperately needed a “ready now” PF as opposed to a project like Randolph, Greene, Speights, or Hickson. Speights & Hickson are playing well but they are doing the same things this year that JT was doing last year.
I love beating dead horses.
This made me wince a little
5. Do fans of your team get overly excited about mid-tier rookies and/or insist mediocre players “will be good someday”?
I winced on this one, too.
This is so true though, especially JT.
To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.
As much as he is my favorite "I wish him the best" Player on the team...
I think the same about Hawes. Damn I want the guy to be the next (All Star Era) Brad Miller, I just don’t know if that is realistic. Sigh… Yeah this one hits close to home…
