Ahhh..
And here was I was hoping to hear him speak his mind on the Kings and players. Their direction and how the players are developing. I mean it is a nice piece on Elie and I am sure will help with PW being less pissed at him over the Spencer thing, but this I expected more than he is an outspoken guy… Nice hook given the past speaking, but misleading…
He has a Vision....
…To Coach a Team.
I suspect he is a lifelong Assistant…that will fail in his many stops. aka PJ. But regardless of the Tone this article has, he has been a PLUS for us. Thanks Mario!

I could see him being our head coach one day
Hopefully not anytime soon.
I love beating dead horses.
Maybe, but I see a future for Westphal turning the Kings into contenders.
To be the best, you have to do your best. Otherwise, you are only second-rate.
What are the odds that he is the next head coach of the Golden State Warriors?
Less than 50%, probably, but still a candidate, in my opinion.

As long as he doesn't take the Clippers job.

I could see him taking a head coaching job with another team
rather than waiting around for a chance on the Kings.

as some here may know
I’m a fan of Mario, his intelligence, his ability to relate to players, and his overall approach to the game.
I’ve touted him as a head coach candidate for the Kings for quite a while, so I was stoked when they hired him here as an assistant.
I’d feel great about Mario taking the wheel, if the chips fell that way; but I think some other team else will likely scoop him up first.
